Mileage rate too high counting gas cost me $165.00 for two days and only 111 miles. Then rental and insurance pushed bill to over $219.00 just to move from one storage locker to another closer to home. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income the rate is just too high. Just borrow and use a pick up next time.

This was by far the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had. The women running the operation was incredibly rude--not only to me as a customer, but to her employee as well. I was a walk-up guest and she barely wanted to help get me a trailer. She also kept telling us we had the trailer for 24hrs, even though the uhaul link said it needed to be back by 7:45. When I did return the trailer, the location device for uhaul wouldn't work, so I called their helpline to notify them that I did drop off the trailer and that the app wasn't working. I got the same lady from earlier that day who was ZERO help and told me that I needed to "work out the problem by myself" and that she is off at 5pm. Needless to say---this was the worst customer service experience ever. I will NEVER return to this uhaul again.

Kim (owner?) gave me one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had! In my opinion, U-haul should not be associated with this dealer. Needed to move a tractor, but John Deere is not in the auto list for selecting the vehicle to be towed on the auto transport trailer, so I just picked a Kia thinking it would be similar in size and heavier than my tractor. When I got there at my appointment time, Kim was busy (understandingly as there were only two people and she was the only one who could do U-Haul rentals). After the paperwork and finding the trailer, it was evident that the skids on the trailer were too far apart for my tractor’s wheel base. I went back inside to explain and she was quite visibly and verbally irritated with me. She told me that I needed a different trailer on the lot, so I asked her to switch and she refused and told me that I had to read my email. I asked her to cancel the original agreement as I hadn’t even hooked up the trailer and she eventually did. I then said that I’d like to rent the trailer she suggested and again refused because I ‘falsified’ my original reservation (again, no tractor to pick as an option). She then left the counter as she said that she had other things she needed to do. After around 5+ minutes helping a vendor, she reappeared and I asked again I f I could rent the trailer and she said that I had to make the reservation on my phone. I needed the trailer today, so I did the reservation on my phone and waited and waited for her again until she came back to the u-haul counter to complete the second transaction.

Kim was great and went to great lengths to make this easy and quick. However, the first truck that was assigned had very high mileage and Kim gave me two other options. The truck I picked (because the other had some minor damage) had been siphoned (not your fault) and wouldn't start. Kim took care of it and gave me the remaining truck. No problems after that and everything went well. Those little frustrations did not change my mind about the quality of the process and experience.

This location is a gas station ,mailbox,and "C'" store and only one woman on duty. I was at the bottom of the being waited on while she continued to help other non U haul customers that came in long after I arrived Got the impression that U haul customers are more trouble then their worth. Had to hitch up my rental trailer on my own. Had requested a different location a week before my schedule pick up but traffic change my pickup location more then 10 miles away the day of my reservation U haul needs to do a much better job screening there rental locations and make sure the equipment requested is at the location I requested.... as I had made my reservation a week ahead of time

The first truck had been emptied of fuel so I had to go find another one. It was raining and that seemed to be okay with the representative. I had asked for a van and for a truck. The cost for fuel was 1.5 times that of the van. I believe that I paid too much and got a lack of customer service.

The mileage was put in wrong and I was overcharged but I don't have a picture to prove it so I'm stuck paying the extra cost. The lady was hard to understand at times and I couldn't open the initial text they sent me to confirm that things were correct.

The lady was horribly rude! She was on a personal call throughout the entire transaction, loudly arguing with whomever was on the line. She yelled at my boyfriend as he was looking at a rack of sunglasses. She was also very slow to acknowledge me, check out the trailer, and to come outside to inspect it before letting us leave. She also left early so I wasn't able to check the trailer back in with her which concerned me because the lot where they are returned is not secured. Horrible service!

The lady was rude,ignored me several times apparently talking on the phone is more important (multiple calls) before getting to me.barely understood her. I recommend not having this gas station as a uhual service provider first time this has happened to me an will no go to this location again

The lady was very unorganized. She was the only employee at the location running a gas station, convenience store and the U-Haul customer service. The trailer was not accesible and I had to move a truck just to be able to back up and secure the trailer. I went back and forth in and out the store to identify the trailer, know where it was at to later secure the keys that was blocking the trailer to then get my car and back it up and hitch the trailer myself. All this at 1800hrs and 30 something degrees.... Worst experience ever!

Next time a client picks a rental make sure it’s not parked in the mud!!!! Getting in and out of a vehicle to hook up a trailer is hard enough without having to climb through the mud getting back in your vehicle

Not really customer friendly. Not related to this site, but we were disappointed when Uhaul changed the location of where to pick up the truck we reserved. Very inconvenient and added a lot of extra time we did not have as we had traveled a long way that morning and had a long way to travel that day after loading.

The people were rude snotty it's an unapproved uncooperative unprofessional and you guys just called me and told me I still had your truck when I was supposed to have it for 24 hours I returned it within 12 so yeah I'm not happy with U-Haul at all and I will never use you again and never recommend you to anybody I think that I am owed money back and because the whole overall experience was garbage was crappy

The person who assisted me on check out was questioning personal information like my employment status and who my employer was and who my friends employer was and how could they retire as well as sharing personal political views with us. The next day that same person called and told me the equipment was due back many hours before it was co tract halls due and argued with me. I told her I would call corporate and complain and corporate confirmed my understanding of the agreed upon contract. It would be nice if the pickup could be kept to a simple transaction that was impersonal and without political preference and an understanding of the contract and deal with corporate.

Customer service at location was horrible. Lady that works there is unprofessional and business looks like no one at the establishment cares about how it is maintained or its appearance on the inside or out. I had to wait for her to finish her personal business she was rude and short. She made me late for dump I then was told I would have to pay an additional day and that if I didn’t contact customer service the truck would be reported as stolen. I’m furious and will never use Uhaul again.

In 7 months I have needed a 10 foot truck for only a few hours and due to the area I live in, this is the only location that guarantees this size truck. 3 times in a row HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The woman may mean well but she runs a gas station, concession stand, post annex and UHaul in the same place and works by herself. She is rude always, prioritizes UHaul as lowest priority ALWAYS and ALWAYS tries to cheat on fuel gauge! This last time was the worst. For her concession stand, she will not start until 10am even on a busy Saturday (as this was) to allow her time to SLOWLY load her warm snacks in the heat lamp trays. Her internet IS HORRIBLY slow, again she is always rude explaining how customers always complain as if she is shaming you not to do the same. This location gives UHaul a bad name and I will NEVER rent from her again. This last time took an hour to get my truck due to a long line and her slow internet, then upon drop off, no customers in line BUT STILL 25 minutes to check me in! She needs to be blind reviewed by your company and on more than one day just in case your inspector were to come on one of her better days. I am sorry to give such a poor review, but she is the worst customer service in the area and THE ONLY POOR UHaul experience I have had in over 30 years of renting from you!

Painfully slow process, and not really the service person's fault. She was having trouble with both her desktop and laptop computers and the printer, and had an angry abusive customer just before me, who kept returning and asking for additional actions. I wanted to give her a hug. She kept her cool, but was never able to print me a receipt and I was there for a full 45 minutes. I would give her 5 stars, but the system is why I rated it 2 stars.

I had completed my paper work prior to picking up my truck; with the exception of making my payment. Once I was at the location there was a problem by them connecting to the uhaul site to complete payment. I was asked to try to make my payment on my iPhone so I could get the truck. However, I was able to pull up the uhaul site, but it would not allow me to now make payment. I called uhaul and they would not allow me to pay over the telephone, the business had to complete the transaction. The business was Still not able to connect by internet, uhaul was contacted by phone. I had to now go over, once again, everything I had done previously on the internet at home to save time. I said I had already done this and was told that since I did not pay prior to pick up he had to go over everything again. At this point I was beyond agitated. What a waste of time to complete everything before hand. What should have taken less than ten minutes took over 45 minutes to complete. This left a sour taste for me! Fortunately, the trip was a success with no issues. Turning the vehicle in was easy.

First of all the lady runs too many things out of her store. She manages a store, uhaul and mailboxes and goodness knows what else. She has no one to help her. Picking up our already reserved uhaul took an hour and half. She didn't even really know how to work the system/software for uhaul. I will never go to this location again nor will I recommend this location to anyone.

The check out process seemed like it took a long time and there was only one person available to run the convenience store and process the rental. Fortunately, I called a day ahead as the availability of the requested trailer was uncertain. The operator was able to confirm the trailer, following the call.

It is not it's own building. It's a tiny corner inside the gas station building. Very confusing and irritating when there is so much pressure to pick up your rental right on time.

The computer was down and somehow my card was declined even though I literally bought a drink and a protein bar right before paying for the U-Haul so I had to pull money out of the ATM I got a text message from U-Haul saying it was due back in 24 hours on Saturday at 2:30 pm instead it was only four hours So you have conflicting information sent

First, my location was changed and I was not contacted. My first location had no record of the change and had no vehicle reserved for me and I was stranded. Luckily, a friend came and gave me a ride to the new location. Second, the vehicle I rented was a large 26-foot truck. The paperwork indicated it had 5/8ths of a tank of gas. When I got in the truck it showed a half-tank but since it was parked on a hill I figured it would read accurately onc on the road. It never changed. I replaced all the fuel I actually used before returning, but was informed it was not their problem that the tank was improperly read by the vendor, and that I would amass considerable fuel & service charges if I did not add additional fuel which I did before returning the vehicle. After being stranded and having to inconvenience a friend and forced to pay for fuel i did not use because of the vendor's error I am furious and am very unlikely to use U-HAUL again for anything.

I would not recommend this location to anyone! The lady who works inside the store was so awful. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She made no eye contacts and short rude responses and acted like she was annoyed with everyone even when I was being more than nice to her. I had small children with me and friends that were helping me move and she was short and rude to them also. I don't know how her gas station stays in business she was rude to all the customers!

I had reserved and had a confirmed reservation to pick up in Lynnwood WA. At the last minute I was told I had to pick up the unit some 50 miles away in Stanwood WA. I was disappointed, but the young lady in Stanwood was a delight so the overall experience was a good one. Thank you

The attendant was very nice. The truck battery was dead after we made the rental purchase. My husband charged the battery himself because we were pressed for time. The passenger seat was covered in food. The check engine light was on but that turned out to be the gas cap was open. Once we got passed these issues the truck ran fine.

I couldn't understand the Asian woman at the counter. She was the only employee on site. She can't read a gas gauge. She isn't intelligent enough to come outside to check the vehicle for the dolly and furniture pads until after she told me to park 100 yards distant. Then she pushes a shopping cart from the store to the truck. She has me put the appliance dolly into the shopping cart loaded with the furniture pads and has me help her push it back to the store over unpaved ground and lift it over the curb separating the truck parking area and the pavement leading back to the store. I had to wait for her to handle gas purchases and convenience store purchases after I arrived and turned in my paperwork and keys. If you really want to improve service for future customers, require all your agents to be proficient in English. I was kept waiting due to her incompetence for 45 minutes. I'll be looking for sites to leave negative feedback for this location as a Uhaul center.

The lady who processed our rental (pretty sure she owns the gas station) was VERY rude to us. She yelled at my husband because she told us our “time had started” and we hadn’t even completed our transaction. Then she kept entering information wrong into the computer & making us wait to fix the issue so she could help other customers in line. So, we sat there for at least 30min while she continued to attempt to enter us into the computer while helping other people purchasing food / gas. She was the rudest person I have ever dealt with & had there been another option, we would have left & rented somewhere else. I would seriously evaluate her business if you continue to allow her to represent your brand! She’s awful & I will never shop in her store or rent U-Haul from her establishment again!

Overall this was a very bad experience. The pickup location was 10 miles from my selected location. So I had to pay for 20 miles just getting to my original pickup plus gas. The proprietor was rude and most unhelpful. The gas charge on top of mileage was not obvious from the early registration process and again it was a rude surprise to have to pay for a bad location. The actual pickup spot being buried in at the bottom of an email is not super helpful.

Half a tank of gas. Had to argue not to return it full. Was supposed to get a truck in MV but last minute I was told the closest truck was 15 miles away. Wasn’t given a discount on the extra 30 miles (over $40 in extra cost between mileage and gas). Quite disappointed in the service of U-Haul. I expected better service than that. (That was coming from your corporate office and not specifically this location). Was told. I could only get a good deal if I got a truck from a different location which was an hour away...how would that make any sense for me?

Please contact me at+14259311089 Dealer was inexperienced at every level. She did not have the physical ability to handle the equipment. She was oblivious to my safety concerns and literally walked away when I asked her about a safety feature on the Car Transport, (trailer). I expressed my concerns to her and the response was “no speaky good English” I’m not sure that person represents you organization very well. Not to mention the safety issues she created for me and everyone driving near me.

Had to unhook trailer myself. I also had to move the trailer to a different area after pulling in. It wasn't clear where the drop-off area was. Also, I don't understand why a 10 a.m. pick-up reservation requires a 9:00 a.m. drop-off the next day--that's not what I consider a day to be. I hope never to have to rent from Uhaul again.

I would have felt better if she processed my return on the spot and I asked for a receipt to confirm drop off and she said it would be emailed. Given that it was a convenience store, it didn't feel super good to just walk out but I saw no other options.

U-Haul needs to fix their on-line reservation system. When making a reservation on-line for a trailer at a given location the system should be able to track inventory and availability. After making a reservation I was called two days out and told the location did not have that size trailer and the closest location was 35 farther North. Not having any options at this late date he changed my reservation to the North location but told me I could return it locally. When I picked up the trailer the cost more than doubled be cause they told me that it was considered a "one-way rental" to drop it off at a different location. I decided to make the 70 mile R/T to return it. At pickup I had to help lift the trailer to attach it and they failed to give me the dolly I had reserved and was charged for so I had to return to the site to pick it up killing another hour of my moving time. On drop-off I had to unhitch and lift the trailer off myself. After a dozen or more military moves I have never used a self-service U-Haul before and will not be returning to this location again.

I have used uhaul a lot in the past but first time to the mini mart location in stanwood wa. We rented the truck and we were just given the key in the store and told we could go. No damage /clean check before with an employee as normal. Thought it was strange but left. Got to our house and open the truck to find that the 10ft box truck was already half full of boxes, clothes, and trash. I called the store right away and told them there was stuff Inthe truck already. The response I got was "oh well you can go dump it". I told them no way was I driving to the dump, paying for millage and gas and dump fees for stuff that was not mine. The response to that was " well you can bring it here and throw it all in our dumpster." Again I told them I was NOT going to be the one to clean this truck before I even use it. So I took the truck back and started a new one.. he then told me he had to charge .e for the millage /gas that was used to go to my house and back to their store. I was outraged! I was not paying for millage and gas when its their mistake that they nvr checked the truck after the last use. FINALLY I get a different truck and again he didnt go out with us but I did my own check of the truck. The back was not too bad needed a sweep and some mud cleaned and the cab of the truck had wrappers and some things left by previous customers . I needed to get going so I took pics and and made the guy sign the agreement saying that the truck was already dirty . I finally got the furniture I needed moved moved and took the truck back cleaner than it was when I took it. The employee walked out checked the mileage only ,then walk back in. so I guess that's how they nvr noticed that the first truck was still dirty cuz they dont check. Absolutely the worst experience I have had I renting a truck .

The trailer was clean inside, but the exterior looked like it needs a power wash.The roll up door malfunctioned at the end of the day and would not close for the last foot, so the door could not be closed shut and locked.

When I came in to pick up the trailer I was told that I had to hook it up by myself. No one assisted and no one made sure the lights were working or checked for existing damages to the trailer before I signed the rental agreement. When I returned the trailer I had to disconnect it myself. The employee on duty did not check out to make sure I had returned it or looked for damages

The sign said $19.95 per day (10' van). I only used it for 3 hours and only drove a total of 10 miles...yet it cost me $51.00!!!!!!

I requested that we pick up at a location nearest our home. I received a call a couple of days before and was told that I had to drive 10 miles out of my way to pick up the truck. Why ask what location you would like to pick up if it really isn't an option? The location we picked up the vehicle was a run down, the kid checking out the truck didn't provide any information, didn't check ID, or even that we were who we said we were....
