I dropped the truck off a day early (Easter Sunday) knowing the location was closed. Used the key box. I tried to use the app to check the truck back in, but it wasn't working. I called the location the next day (day the truck was due to be returned) and the man who answered told me I just needed to check the truck back in online. I tried for over 30 minutes and neither the app or website was working. I called the location back and the man told asked me what size truck and if the keys were in the key drop and that he would take care of checking the truck back in. On Tuesday, I had a call from UHaul asking when I was going to return the truck. This was a different location (part of the problem the day before, because my drop off location was listed) and I told him that I have returned the truck. The man from drop off location had not checked the truck back in. The second location staff were finally able to contact the drop off location and get the truck check back in with no additional charges. If I rent a truck again, I will make sure that the drop off location is an actual UHaul location instead of a location like above.

First, this was only a self-check in location. The area is questionable and there was NO internet connection. The instructions were for internet connection only. This is not what I paid for. I feel like I worked for Uhaul as I had to drive a mile back down the street to see if I could get connection at the little Marina store and still could not get connection. I called Uhaul and they stated that since no one was there and i could not get a connection, do i want to drive to a different location. I told her no because i am only allowed a certain mileage and I would have to fill up the LARGE tank again. she stated that she would make a note on my account. My rental was due by 4pm, I turned it in at 9am. I received a text asking about my rental at 6pm asking if i dropped the Uhaul off at the location and what the milage was and gas. This is very frustrating way to do business. I just don't like the process as I was given one location to drop off and then was text a different location the night before i was returning. Lastly, the number for the business location does not work so I could not call them to find out what to do either. I moved from a different state and this drop off was by far the worst.
