Attendant was not in office at time of pick up, had to call (open at 9, arrived at 9:10). She was in line at Dunkin' Donuts but left line to come and fulfill my reservation. Trailer had damage to non-folding fender, 3 out of 4 rivets holding leading edge were broken, fender and wheels had obvious damage. Otherwise, trailer worked fine.James D.

U-Haul needs to do a better job all around. You have no customer service anymore. It's almost impossible to speak to someone on the phone. You expect everyone to manage their business on a device and it doesn't always work that way. After securing a location for pick up I got several emails that the equipment was no longer available I could not pick up my equipment within a 25 mile radius of the location where I need to use the truck. I hope I never have to use Uhaul again.Erin B.

This was by far the worst experience we've had with Uhaul. I arrived to return my truck but no one was in the office. After calling the location they said they were out to lunch and would return in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I called again and they said they were out doing errands and would return in 10 minutes. Finally after an hour someone returned. She asked my husband to back the truck into a very small spot which he responded can your staff do it as he was not comfortable with it? She said she would have her son move the truck. She then checked us out and said we would be charged an additional $11 for gas which was what was used after sitting and waiting for an hour for someone to return and check us in. In Florida in summer we needed the ac on. She was just very short with and annoyed that she had to deal with us. I feel that I was nickle and dimed after spending $400 in gas for this truck. I'm very disappointed.Peter R.

The truck I reserved two weeks prior wasn't available. I had to run around town for two hours trying to find an alternative. Later in the day this location gave me a smaller truck with a tiny trailer for basically the same price as the truck I had reserved. Because of this, I was unable to move some of my belongings and had to lose them.Allison P.

I normally do not write reviews but what Trish and her son did for us was a miracle. We made a truck reservation with another agency but at the last minute the reservation was not made. We needed to move by Wednesday because we sold our house and Saturday found out that there was no reservation. We spent all day Saturday trying to find a truck. Finally, we were told that a truck was available for Sunday. We went to the place and the office was close. We called and the man was very rude saying that it was Sunday and the office was close and he did not have a truck even though U-Haul told us that one was available, We told him that there was a truck across the street and he said that it was not his and he did not know what business it belonged to. We went across the street and found 1st Call Pats. Trish had a truck, a trailer and auto transport that we needed. Her service was amazing. By Monday afternoon, we realized that a truck and a trailer was not going to be enough for all the things we needed to move. We called Trish and asked if we could return the auto transport and rent another trailer. She said no problem but by then it was almost 6PM. Her son waited for us to make the exchanged. Because of Trish and her son we were able to move. We are so grateful and will not rent from any other place but 1st Call Pats. Thank you so much for all your help. I recommend them 1000%.mario R.

I was told one thing and as sold something else. I was told that In Town Returns would be $125 plus $.040/ mile going to Miami and back. Instead we paid over $186.00 for just the truck and I'm not sure what more. Then when the truck was return, they billed be for the .040/mile another $86.00. I asked for an itemized print out to understand but instead was given a printout with what was charged and when asked what where the charges, I was explained that I'm being billed upfront for all to and from Miami (120 one way); however, when I return if I traveled less, refund. If more miles no more charge. So it was a total misrepresentation of the cost up front to a client. I'm sure the Florida Better Business Bureau would love to hear my complaint. Not happy at all with the service and the young man's inexperience which required him to call another office for clarity. I felt I was being screwed but had to leave at that point. However, be advised that I called ahead of time and did my research before. It would have been cheaper to just pay $39.95 X 2 day plus .99/mile about 240 miles. It was an overall sham and extremely upset with the whole process.manny A.
