First, I made a reservation 1 month ago before my moving day with online chek-in to the location I booked for. When I arrived, the guy at the office told me my reservation was cancelled even I showed him the login on my phone and everything remained the same to pick up at this location. He told me nothing he could do so I have to go to the other location they assigned me. He even told me never to book a truck online (what a joke). I paid $20 for the uber to get there and luckily, they did have the truck for me. However, when I returned the truck today, they charged me $30 additional for the gas fee. They claimed the original gas tank was filled with 5 8, which was totally not true. Anyway, I paid additional $50 for a 6 hour rental and moved for 5 miles in total. What a ripoff this company can be!Andrew I.

I drove only 10 miles per the speedometer and was charged over $20 for gas because the uhaul team there fudged the gas meter to say I consumed 1/8 of the tank or 4 gallons (which wouuld mean I'd have to have gotten 2.5 miles per gallon!)Lewis K.

The trucks AC was broken and all the floorboards were dirty. When I mentioned the broken AC (After I already ran my errands because I wasn't going to pay mileage to drive back and forth to the dealer) they offered me a new truck... but I was already done. This was a nightmare. I went to pick up my uhual and was told the vehicle was moved to another location. I was never notified of this. I had to drive a ross town and scramble to get the truck. Upon arriving there was a mix up and i was given the wrong vehicle a van, i had ordered a 15 ft truck.. i had already paid and had to pay twice.. all of this delayed ne 2 hours and had a dominoe affect on ny move plans. I had to pay extra hours for labor, and missed my flight as a result. You cannot just â€œ move â€œ a location and not tell anyone, that's unacceptable. The agent i spoke with said i would be refunded but have not seen anything.. i will not be recommending nor using uhual againFrancisco A.

The location and equipment was good and as expected. I found the representative I worked with difficult and not a good experience. I was waiting with another customer for 15 minutes in the lobby after opening with no employee in sight. When she did show up, the service was slow (printer didn't work, she had a dog in the lobby that was a distraction). When my turn came up, she had made some off-color comments about someone else's service, after which I told her I was in a rush and needed to keep focus (30 minutes after I was supposed to get the truck at this point). The atmosphere became tense with her making comments like "patience is a virtue" and telling me I needed to calm down. I was also told I was late for my appointment and was my fault she couldn't find the keys, despite me calling a couple days before to change the time and her being the employee who said she changed it. Overall not good customer service.KYLE L.

Clerk was super friendly and helpful and made sure I got what I needed, not their fault I had issues. First truck had a broken mirror so couldn't take that. Second truck was pulled off maintenance for me, which was great because it let me get going, but also not great because it had no fan/AC. Also the truck was just in general kinda crappy.DALLAS S.
Originally made my reservation for 2:30PM. It was pushed back to 3PM last minute. I arrived 15 minutes prior but was not given the truck until 3:45PM. This ate 45 minutes of time for my hired help. If I reserve a truck for 2:30PM on your website, it should be available at 2:30PM.IVAN F.

The doors weren't unlocked when I showed up at 11am, but the hours listed said they opened at 8am. I had to knock on all the doors and windows. Then I couldn't get the online check in or check out to work, which could be due to my cell service. However, the person inside said they couldn't help me with the app. Then they said they could take the key and check the van back in for me. The next day, someone texted me that they couldn't find the key. Later, they found it, but overall, the whole U-Haul experience made my move more stressful.Shannah T.

I was charged extra miles and more gas after having had to be sent to 2 different places to pick up a truck (1 hour away) and then pick up a trailer appropriate for AWD. Frustrating to do, extra cost and gas for me, use of a friend whom I had to bribe with dinner and Insult to injury, your miles didn't cover it and you charged me for 1/8th tank of gas.BRIAN Z.

The service was great and the lady helping out did a wonderful job even when the internet went out on her computer. The truck itself was fine but the cab was dirty with sticky spilled drink on the console. Also, the bed of the truck had broken glass and had not been swept out. I was not unhappy with the truck but would have expected it to be cleaner.SCOTT H.

$25 fee was charged for "cleaning" because they felt blankets were not folded. We were not told that blankets needed to be folded and were not given a printed agreement by the pickup location (they apparently have no working printer). Staff over phone were rude about this and make me not want to utilize this location or UHAUL. I am requesting a refund of this charge and will be doing a chargeback if not granted.DANIEL O.
The computer was off line, the Ipad was frozen & this woman actually rented me a Uhaul on her own phone! Honestly, it took almost an hour to get the truck but the woman working made it happen! Was I impressed with Uhaul? No. I heard the support division on speaker phone make mistakes costing us all time. I heard her manager offer pointless non-solutions. And I also heard this amazing woman take a deep breath & thank each person who didn't actually help her. 10/10 for the woman working at Uhaul today for dealing with all that nonsense and STILL making my reservation happen!christine H.
