The Uhaul I was given had an empty tank. And the fuel gauge didn't work. So its was really convenient having to fill it up and not know whether there was enough fuel.
George JI had reserved my truck for 8:30 ("after" / "before" hours pickup) but the truck wasn't ready yet so I had to wait until 9:00 when the store opened which delayed my plans a bit. This was the worst part of the experience, the customer service folks were helpful/sweet and the store operator was nice and helpful once he arrived (and he arrived a few minutes early which was nice).
NATALIE FPick up location is easy to access in SODO. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will happily return to this location for my next rental needs.

Christopher CEasy late night drop off. The lights were bright enough so i was able to take good pictures. The sirens that we were trespassing were continuous. But I certainty understand why they are in place.

HAI BI've successfully reserved trucks from this location before, but I experienced major issueswith their after hours check-in process. When I arrived an hour and a half before they opened, the app provided me with a numeric lock code when the lockbox had an alphabetic lock on it. I had to wait out in the cold for an hour until an employee showed up to provide access to my reserved truck. I ended up being 45 minutes late to the location where the truck was needed.
Brendan BI was told on price then charged 50 dollars more! Uhaul sucks
Connie ALittle gas left in the truck, staff gave us a gas can to refill the bare minimum ourselves so we can make it to the closest gas station. Staff was rude and chose a patronizing tone when answering questions. Ok truck, uncalled for experience.

ELIZABETH LThis was an awful experience. I was told that I was late when I'd put in an arrival time but there was no one to help so I went through the app which did leave me 27 minutes late once I could find it. I was told I was short on gas even though at the first location I'd been I just "needed to be close" to the gas gauge. Why was I charged $15 that I was just told was for "insurance"? Nothing was explained to me I was told I just had to call. I'm extremely disappointed
Kira S...this truck should be pulled from service - it is very close to just falling apart - the engine light kept coming on and off - at the gas pump on the highway after we filled up - the truck would only go in reverse and we caused a very very long back up because the truck would not go into gear for about 20 minutes - we finally jiggeled and pushed and it dropped into drive - after that we were afraid to turn the truck off again until we returned it - a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience for us and for everyone we put out at the gas station - HORRIBLE - the inside back of the truck was dirty and filled with debris which we had to clean before we could load our delivery - there is no knob on the driver door window and you could not roll down the window - there is no port either for electric or usb usb-c - overall the truck is a disaster and is not safe -

Niccolo GI was told the vehicle had a full tank of gas but it was only a quarter-tank full. A partial credit was issued, but I still paid far more in gas than I should have. The woman behind the desk was wonderful. The four stars are for her, not for Uhaul.

RACHAEL KI went to the location where I reserved to pick up and drop off my 9' van. I arrived for my 1pm reservation time only to be told by April, the customer service rep, in a consistently condescending tone, that I was "wrong" and that there were no vans there and that I must be at the wrong place. She would interrupt me every time I went to ask a question with various versions of telling me that I was wrong about my booking (spoiler alert - I wasn't wrong about any of it). What actually happened is that UHaul, being a greedy company, overbooked and didn't have the vehicle I had reserved. I got texts AFTER my reservation time telling me that I needed to go pick up outside of the city, followed by another text that I needed to pick up in different place outside of the city (two completely different places). This new reservation was an hour after the one I initially booked. April was beyond unhelpful and left me feeling like I was incompetent and a huge inconvenience. I wish she would have simply explained what the issue was to me (that UHaul had overbooked, that sometimes they change your pick up location based on availability, etc) and to either help me find where my new reservation was, or to at least tell me who I could call for help. But she chose to make me feel stupid for being confused/like I was lying about what had gone wrong in the first place. In the end, after April had told me that there were no vehicles to rent, someone on the phone helped me to rent the one truck that actually WAS at that location and didn't have any reservations coming up all day. I don't know why April couldn't have done this for me to begin with. But when I came back to get my truck, she was still extremely condescending, and when I requested that my mileage cost, like the truck cost, be matched to what I had initially been quoted, since it wasn't my fault I was having to get a bigger/more expensive truck. She told me no multiple times, then when I pressed for it, she was so beyond rude to me about it. She called and got it approved (of course) but made some snarky remark when it was taking a while being on hold like "careful what you ask for, you just might get it". Like....thank you? That WAS what I wanted? Anything to make me feel bad/stupid. I have never in my life left a negative review somewhere. But the greedy booking practices of UHaul, and April's abhorrent behavior left me no choice. I've never had an experience with someone that unpleasant before. Though I've used UHaul for my 15+ moves in my life - moving forward I will utilize other companies, I can't look past this experience.
Liz WThere was large boxes of cardboard left in the back of the the truck from the previous driver- it was very challenging to dispose of, as they were for large mattresses /furniture.

KELLY WLocation and customer service were very good and convenient, the truck that I rented was very rundown, very dinged up, and when I tried to report that on the app, I was unable to upload photos. I will probably be going back to this location simply because it is very conveniently located for me, but The rental trucks are definitely on their last legs .

Danielle KWhen I dropped off the car the alarms from the cameras went off a lot. It may be a bit misleading if the police gets involved since they could think I was trying to commit a crime when in reality I was just trying to return my rental.
