The self check in doesn’t work and took over 12 hours to troubleshoot for me to return. Don’t push services you haven’t QA’d.

Self check in is NOT efficient as you make it sound. It took up almost 20 mins of my reservation time, completely unexpected.

I reserved a 20ft truck at this location because it’s all that was available supposedly at this location, ended up getting 15ft truck reserved an appliance hand truck they didn’t have it. Checking in the gentleman was on the phone trying to buy a new cell phone rather than help me. I asked if I could add another driver was told no. I asked why could I only rent the truck for 8 hrs. I was told someone else reserved it too. I said I have to drive 165 miles roughly that’s gonna be tight what if I need it another day. I was told I'd have to pay the other persons bill. I said what, at this point I wanted to cancel the whole thing. I was in a jam and needed to get this move done today so I proceeded but it was a VERY stressful day having to deal with a ton of LIE traffic into and out of Long Island. I had to rush everything. I’ve dealt with u-haul in the past many times and have never ran into this type of situation moving is stressful enough having a time constraint makes it worse I’ve been able to keep u-hauls in the past paid the extra day fee have had to have a vehicle back by midnight I think once or twice but never an 8 hr window. I will never ever go back to this place and would never recommend this place.

Better check in system.. guy at location was rude and unhelpful to customers new to getting U-Haul as he had to deal with us and had gas customers

Customer service sucks! Cashier was very rude and unprofessional I came for a truck rental not food at a restaurant.

The manager is such an asshole. Sorry for the language but his attitude in disgusting.

Not a lot of signs for you to know where to drop off the Uhaul.

The location was fine. The Uhaul self check-in, however, did not work, and I was not able to get the van as reserved at 7:00 AM. The help line attendants were rude, impatient, and gave out inaccurate information about the check-in process (for example, that the problem was that I was using the Uhaul online account rather than the app. I installed the app, and still wasn't able to check out the van). Furthermore, every time the call center put me on hold , I ended up talking to a different service rep. I would not use the self check in again or recommend it to anyone I know. I would compliment the Uhaul staff at the gas station however. Even though he was only set to start at 8:00 AM, he saw me waiting and frustrated and helped me at 7:30. Nice guy.

I think it depends on attendant you get but I had a lovely experience. I had a reservation for 8am (as did many others) but only had to wait 7 mins to be helped despite the amount of other patrons. The two clerks were friendly and professional. I was to have to truck back by 2pm for another reservation but one of the clerks said that if I made if back by 2:30pm, it would be totally okay. Overall my experience was very positive and I'd happily go back to this location.

The process was very painless. The guys on duty were very helpful, as I had made a mistake in my order. He quickly resolved it so I could get the truck.

I reserved a dolly, but when I arrived at the pick up location they said they do not have dollies. The man was very nice and let us use a broken dolly they had (because it was better than nothing). He said they have been out of dollies for a while and have requested more from uhaul corporate, but have not received any more.

I was assigned a car, then watched someone else get in. This was confusing - turns out the people inside switched my car for some reason. I think I was overcharged but I'll have to double check. Not pleasant or easy.

Cargo area of van smelled like a zoo, driver & passenger seats had animal hair on it. I would recommend the location only for its convenience for people of that area

The vehicle was in good condition. The transaction was pretty quick. However, Customer service could have been better. The person seemed very bothered and didnt give instructions. It was my first time renting a uhaul so I had questions and he was very short and seemed annoyed. Overall the experience was good.
