Kristine SchwarzWhile I have high marks for the ownerof this facility, and the truck was in good shape and did the job I needed, I have NOTHING good to say about your online “mobile app” rental process. I was unable to complete the checkout process, because the check boxes for Terms and Conditions etc DID NOT WORK, no matter what I did, even after calling your Customer Service number and chatting with an agent. I would have been stranded there without being able to get my truck, if not for the owner, who had only stopped by to pick something up (it was on Labor Day, so they were normally closed). But it should not have been that difficult, seriously. Fix your web site !

Jeff LintonAlthough my reservation and pick up was at another site in town, that site was unprepared to provide the moving blankets and dolly that were part of my order. Auto Repair 101 came to my rescue. My move would have been a very different experience without their great service. I wish I had known the difference in service between them and the other UHaul Provider in Buellton, as I clearly selected the wrong one for my truck and supply rental. Thank goodness for Auto Repair 101's great service.

CHRISTIAN WEBERCalled the day before to confirm an early mobile pick-up. We drive 40 minutes to get the truck and the location is closed without a way to complete a mobile pick up. We call the business number......no answer, no voicemail option. Called Uhaul and was told they would call the regional manager. They called back to say the owner would be down in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, no owner. Called Uhaul again to report no owner . 30 minute later the owners son shows up, unapologetic. We ordered 3 dozen blankets, he goes out in the parking lot and picks up mostly unpackaged blankets and throws 33 blankets into the back of the truck. "Thats all we have". Finally, an hour and 1/2 later we have the truck. Very sad excuse for a business.

Alan CorlinMy paperwork stated truck had 1/4 tank of fuel and I was told truck get 10 mpg’s. I drove 11 miles and added 1.222 gallons of gas. Uhaul sayed I did not return it with same amount of fuel and charged me 30 dollar service fee and 15 dollars for two gallons. Uhaul is clearly a scam and customer was clearly being fair fir 1.22 gallons for only 11 miles. Steer clear.

doria Humeslocation was closed. run-down gas station filled with miscellaneous broken cars/RVs. this is also 45 miles away from where i had requested the rental. u-haul gas tank was not full, and did not include the moving pads i had purchased. u-haul was filled with random cardboard scraps.

Erin GnekowTruck was dirty, the back was left open, and the blankets inside were damp. Missing equipment (1 dozen+ blankets, furniture dolly, and utility dolly were not in the truck). No keys in lock box. Had to have the Ventura representative call the manager of the auto shop, who eventually came and gave us the key, more blankets, and a furniture dolly, but could not provide a utility dolly. What should have been an easy pick-up took an hour and a half. Terrible experience and hugely inconvenient.
Franklin DillonI dropped the truck off very early in the morning. When the guy called me he was a bit rude and dismissive at first. I asked a question and his response was I don't know anything about that I just calculate the miles and fuel. I asked another question and again he said I don't know anything about that. Finally he said I will leave the contract open and you can call about the issue. But he must have called because shortly after someone from U-Haul called me and we worked it out. I didn't expect him to end up being helpful but he was in the end.

RAMIRO GUERREROThe U haul computer did not work, so the owner let me rent the trailer with my License information. When I got back he had to basically reenter all my information again since the system did not have me in there. Even though I had the confirmation number to show them.
DANA D'ndreaThe site was wonderful and helpful. The call center made me wait on hold for 30 minutes then after I spoke with someone my call was dropped. Then I called back and they sent me to a location that did not have the equipment I wanted available. Complete waste of time and effort. Save $ and get rid of your call center
John Von FlueI was charged for two days because i was late dropping the trailer off. Rep failed to mention they were closed on day of drop off, or explain how to drop it off. the trailer didn't have a jack- so my GF was unable to detach the trailer. Thus making me make an unnecessary trip out of town while moving- causing return to be late. ill never rent from this location again. Damage to trailer wasn't documented when i picked it up. No mention of which harness/adapter needed for trailer, when i asked about the pin configuration, i received a snarky remark "trailers are four pins" with abundance of attitude. Which then allows site to over charge for janky adapters. Poor experience overall

GABINO HERNANDEZIt's just a little dive place that does auto repair in a very small community so not much to look at but VERY helpful people. The son of the own was super helpful to the point of being on speed or meth - I backed up to where he wanted me to get close to the rear hitch and before I could get out of my car and walk back he had it hooked up, chains on and electric ready to test!!!

David RubioDont like the fact im charged a premium price to rent when i do all the work. You dont check the equipment with me, you dont check it back in, your partners cant get my info right, even after telling them 3 times, they still sent an email with my info to a address that was wrong. It took me 7 hrs to get a person on the phone to correct the wrongly entered email address. I called every hr from 8-2 b4 someone finally answered the phone, im sure glad i wasnt stranded somewhere. This online crap isnt good business practice! Truck was filthy and couldnt take a pic of it as i was driving it when your stupid online form came over but i did wash it b4 i returned it. During covid i would think it would have been cleaned and sanitized b4 the next person rented it, but i guess thats not a priority for uhaul only getting my money is I think next time i will just buy a trailer it will be cheaper and safer

Kristine SorrellU-haul consistently changed the details of my order without my consent, including changing the drop off location to a place 400 miles from my actual location. I wasn't able to drop off the truck because of this, and had to wait until the next day when I could call uhaul and get the location changed back to the right one Why did they change my drop off location in the first place?!?!

JORGE MEZAChange the AI in your app so that we are able to take pictures of a sufficiently high quality. I wouldn't allow us to take a shot if it was too well lit, bizarrely enough so we ended up having to settle for almost pitch black photos.
