The location of the pick up was changed the day before. The communication from uhaul for this change was poor. I just got a generic text and email that went to my junk folder. No real mention of the the fact that the location changed. I feel a specific "the pick up location has changed" type of wording is appropriate. This new location was for pick up only. No other services available, if needed or wanted. The control knob for the heat vents was broken. The windshield defrost was needed the next morning. The windshield would not defrost until I was able to get my tools out to change the settings. It was lucky that I had needle nose pliers to do this.

I had never rented through the newer internet based check-in check-out process and my emails from U-Haul were missing a lot of information. Blank lines of nothing. So between my own issues and the staff at the garage not being 100% ready for me, there was a little miscommunication as to where the keys should have been. Would just like to have had more details from them as to how the process should have gone. It was a learning experience for all of us I think. But they were still kind and the truck was in perfect condition. I would rent again from them and knowing what I know now, it will go smoother.

I wouldn’t recommend uhaul to anybody! It took an hour and a half from my arrival to the point of payment because of the computer system and the difficulty of use. I should have left and went somewhere else but felt bad for the people running the business. Worst experience trying to rent something and it will never happen again!!!
