They said that gas was on Full but it was behind the white line (not quite full). However required me to return it on full. When I returned it it was past the white line. I told the guy who took the keys and he said they don't do anything about thatMARCUS R.

Manager was beyond rude to my son and wife. All this after giving away the truck we had reserved and check in online and called the main line to let them know we were picking up later in the dayNICHOLAS C.
The customer service was the same as the Texas location. No one had patience to help us. The employees gave fast directions that were unclear and made me feel stupid for asking questions again because the directions given to me for unclear. I will not be using uhaul again after the experiences I had.Martha or Maximo H.
Workers should have a motorized tool (mule) to move the trailers around; otherwise, eventually, someone is going to get hurt. The inside of the trailer needed repairs. Also, there should be D-rings or something like that on the walls for attaching furniture straps to hold the items in place. Lastly, the lanes that the trailers are maintained in wider lanes, to reduce the chances of getting hung up on equipment in other lanes. Also, the entrance and exit are somewhat confusing. The store is located on the south bound lane of route one. The first drive is the exit and the second drive is the entrance... maybe better signage? The staff is awesome... my only concern are what is mentioned above.DONALD E.
Picking up and returning our truck was far more difficult than expected. The website on my phone would not allow me to login to start the check in process. Every time I logged in, it had to send a two step verification to my phone. And then every time I put in the code that it texted me for the two-step verification, it would say "sorry your session is expired", even when I put the code in seconds after it was texted to me. Somehow it started to work, but then we had to wait for our two references to be contacted before we were approved, which seems like an unnecessary step. By the time the truck was ready, it was 12:45 pm and it said we still had to return the truck by 6:00 pm. Since it was a 6 hour rental and your check in process was more complicated than it needed to be, I would have thought that we would have been able to return the truck by 6:45 pm. Returning the truck was not much easier. The parking lot is so poorly designed- I watched several people try to turn into it and clip their back tires on the curb because the entrance is so narrow and there are cars parked on the side along the left. I again could not login to the website on my phone due to the two step verification and it saying my session expired each time so it was unclear what the steps were to return the truck. We pulled into the spot where it said "Return equipment here" and then went inside, as there were no employees in sight- this was still during business hours. There was a huge line of people inside, I'm assuming to return their trucks as well. After waiting in line for a few minutes, we see an employee getting into our truck so my fiance went outside to ask if they needed anything from us. He said we are good to go, which was a relief that we didn't have to stand in that line but we would have if no one had told us not to. The entire experience was not enjoyable and it seems that you system is severely flawed. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone and I will not be using your company in the future.Domenic B.

My issues with uhaul, when I tried to call the laurel MD location I could never get threw to alive person at the location. Was told it would be an hour wait. Secondly when I went to return the truck the application wasn't working, kept given me error messages. It was eight of us all out there trying to return our rentals for over an hour on 07/30/22.Waverly B.
The employees need help badly here, both the man that checked me out and the man that helped secure the trailer were way too busy. The line inside was ridiculous and took almost an hour for me to get through.Brandon L.
The truck has a mechanical problem. It cannot accelerate over 30 mph. We took it on highway and it was a problem. We tried to contact the store to drop off at a closer branch to avoid the drive back and after 40 minutes wait to speak with customer service, the system disconnected me.Grace F.

The employees were respectful and kind. 30-25 minutes before opening, returned trucks were blocking the temporary customer parking. One employee was moving all 10 or so trucks on his own, and maybe that is normal, but it was confusing as a first time customer and for the other 3 cars that pulled up behind me and barely fit off the the highway.Claire W.

My check in experience was initially okay the lady who I believe to be the manager explained everything and was helpful. But checkout was a bad experience. They need to make sure they check out customers once the keys are returned and give them a reciept so people wont get over charged and have a hold on their account for days on end. When I walked in the guy yelled over a customer in front of him and told meâ€ just put the keys on the drivers seat and you will get an email with the updated charges. â€œ I didnt receive any communication from Uhaul until I called customer care the next day. This location is unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This was my first time using this company, not doing it again.Ayanna B.

No issues with the drop-off other than almost getting blocked in by other trucks. I suspect customers weren't clear on where to leave trucks after hours. Otherwise, the biggest problem is that the entire U-Haul reservation system is broken in general. If you want an absurd amount of stress before you move, go right ahead and book U-Haul. There is no way for them to guarantee a pick-up location up until the point where the previous users returns the truck. If the users extend a day or decide to drop it off somewhere else, you're out of luck! Have fun driving across town or up to an hour and a half away just to pick up the truck. NEVER U-HAUL AGAIN!Fergus C.

First of all, the manager was almost an hour late opening the location. One of the workers was outside trying to help. Then he gave me a nasty attitude and threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't provide an alternate contact person. Finally, the right side brake and turn signal lights did not work and there was no replacement trailer, so my choice was take the trailer with defective lights, or cancel the rental that I was already over an hour late into my schedule trying to move from 2 hours awayEdward K.

My uhaul was towed with all my belongings by an unauthorized person which ended up being beyond inconvenient and ridiculous. I will be writing the headquarters and and President of uhaul about this terrible situation.Miles Y.

Just a busy place - and waiting takes a bit - mostly due to other customers not having the filled out their forms prior to arriving. One thing - there are no signs or information on using the mobile checkout. There are some signs for mobile check-in. To reduce the line wait, it would be useful to see a mobile checkout process / steps.Aurelio P.
Entire rental and transaction was perfectly smooth-- this is def one of the better UHaul franchises I've used over the years-- and has itself improved with time. The truck itself REALLY should not have been sent back out, though-- the muffler was just about done. Loud enough that people in the street were stopping to watch us drive by. . . Not sure where that kind of thing gets caught in the return inspection process. . . but yikes!Thomas H.

The truck needed a wheel alignment. To drive straight I had to keep the wheel turned almost half way to the left. The truck would not start multiple times causing me to have to pay the movers double. And when letting roadside assistance and the location know I was informed that sometimes that happens with their trucks. UNACCEPTABLE!!Nicole G.

We did not receive the van we reserved due to a confusion on the part of the previous customers who had that van, they did not know their required return date/time because they had borrowed it late. We wound up changing plans to borrow a smaller van which caused us to need to make two trips to get all of our stuff. Would recommend uhaul to call customers the night before to confirm they are returning the van on time, or having more than one van of each size available.James R.
