I booked the U-Haul at the N Scottsdale location but there was no one at that office and the app was showing 'Assistance required'. When I went to the other mcclintock location , the assistant was very rude and didn't offer to help, I had to reach out to other assistants to get my truck and when I finally got my truck, It was 10 miles farther than the original location. So, my suggestion would be to please properly design your U-Haul iphone app and hire some people who have nice attitude.RHITURAJ B.

From the moment I drove off the uhaul lot at 2626 e Indian School the trailer vibrated excessively. The trailer not only vibrated but it caused my truck and driving steering wheel to vibrate uncontrollably as well. The trailer should not be street legal. I had limited time to move my belongings on Sunday and therefore forced to live with the condition of the 6x12 trailer. This has happened more than just once renting a 6x12 uhaul trailer.CHRISTINA J.
Let me start out by saying I wish I could give no stars. This place doesn't deserve any of them. The gentleman that â€œhelpedâ€ me David was rude. He had a really bad attitude. The young man who waited on me was very concerned about getting all of the information on renting the Truck clear so I understood everything clearly, he wasn't the least bit condescending, he made this hectic day for me easy, he deserves a raise!!James L.
The location & people there, especially David, are great. The corporate website sucks though. It wouldn't permit me to rent a truck online. Even after I ensure which location I want the truck, the website still sends it to a mom & pop shop ten miles away. After getting the truck, the two links from the corporate site that permit me to change mileage & gas level do not work. Again: People are great! Corporate is really screwed up.Greg P.

I'm a Teacher, just needed to quickly rent a van in order to bring home classroom supplies and resources until the start of the new school year. This U-Haul facility made it all work quickly and efficiently, from the online rental process straight through to the return check-in. Kudos! I believe his name was David and he was very professional especially with answering the phone and quickly asking what I needed and I ended up calling 3 times and each time he answered and gave me quick time. Which no other store has done these past 2 months and some even transfer to a call center which is wrong. When I arrived he came out within 3 minutes and asked if I was fine with all condition of vehicle and gas etc as he had an extremely long line inside and I said yes vehicle wasn't supposed to be back for 2 days and in immaculate condition and then explained the gas not being at half and showed him the picture and mileage at pickup where the gentleman servicing the return trucks said to take pic and show drop off location but unfortunately I was charged $16.50 for gas stillJAMES V.

My experience with your company was very unpleasant. Important details were never shared when I made my reservation. This was a horrible hassle and not one agent on the phone had any realistic resolutions. David Tucker at this branch was by far the only positive experience I encountered.Jason K.

One of the better U-Haul locations I've been to. Granted, this was perhaps the 3rd used to in my lifetime. I can't honestly answer the question "Was the equipment clean and well maintained?" The cab smelled "off" lol. Maintenance? Who knows. Minimal I suspect. So, be careful, keep your distance and go SLOW. Safe travels!!James M.

The camelback location was perfect but you all sent me to a different location to pick up on Indian school rd and I went there first. The manager on duty was not there. Then at pick up time you all sent me a text to go to a different location. This was in uhaul not the camelback location. I will always go to camelback k location for now on. TgxxTAMYRA M.

You can clean the inside of the truck from the previous users dog hair! It was everywhere. You can also give the correct items purchased like an appliance dolly and not a furniture dolly. And last but not least you can tell your customers that the insurance yall sell is a bunch of boohockieâ€¦lolâ€¦I got it and when a few things got damaged I was told it was because I didn't load the truck right. That's the main reason I'll never use or recommend yall again. Tha k you for letting me ventAaron G.
I was called late that afternoon before my pickup to be told that my booked location was not available and I'd have to go a significant distance out of my way to get my truck. After a 50 min Lyft ride I get checked in and then told I can't take my truck because it's not ready due to a padlock left on the back. I'm told there are no other trucks and that I'll now have to go to yet another location another 30 min Lyft ride away to get my rental truck. I was also told by a manager that I would get a credit for all the lost time and hassle when I get to the next location. The final location did have my rental truck and had great customer service. They told me a $300 refund (I prepaid for my full rental) would be given to me upon return of the truck to my drop off location due to all the inconvenience, lost time, and expense of Lyft rides. When I returned the truck I explained the situation and showed them the refund on my contract but they said that's now how it works and couldn't give me a refund as promised to me. They were extremely helpful and filed a claim for me.Adam D.

Nothing really, check in was smooth and quick, check out was even easier. A very pleasant experience! Only thing I can think of is to advise that running A/C really eats away at fuel economy. Just like with your car, but even worse with the moving trucks.Scott H.

Wipe down the interior of the rental truck between each customer. Covid 19 is STILL PRRSENT and this truck was positively filthy inside: The center console was sticky with sprayed soda/similar, the inside of the windscreen had obvious "sneeze-spray marks" and when I wiped down the multi-function steering wheel the wet wipes I used came away almost black!! Disgusting! After sitting in the truck for all of 6 miles, all I wanted was to change clothes and take a shower. The service was top-notch and the personnel friendly, swift and courteous. But the truck... Ewwww...Patrik H.
