While the staff was nice and pointed out that the pickup I rented had damage to the tailgate, they failed to tell me or were unaware that the tailgate did not lower. As I rented the pickup to move items including furniture out of storage, having to lift all items over the side of the truck bed all week was less than convenient. Upon returning the truck, I explained the situation to the staff and was told a manager would follow up with some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. That was three weeks ago and I've yet to hear anything. Obviously, I'm disappointed, thanks, Kevin

Only issue was after flying from NY to Texas to pick up my reserved truck, it wasn't there. I had to drive 90 miles to get a truck which delayed the rest of the trip. The dealers were great but the underlying delays made the move very difficult.
Pettis P.We drove the truck a total of 50 miles. We took it to a car wash to make sure it was clean. When we got the final bill, we were charged $150 for mirror housing damage. My daughter went back and saw how the clips had come undone and were caught in the housing. She freed them and clipped them back in place. She was then told there was a bit of a gap and the manager would do nothing for us. We were told to take it up with corporate which we will be doing. We will never use this uhaul again.

We ended up having to rent a tiny space to store our belongings, of which only half fit- the other half of our stuff is at a neighbors garage. Now, we must press on to Ohio with only what we can carry in our two SUV's, including our 2 small children with carseats. This has cost us so much. So much money. So much stress. So much time to struggle and try to find a solution. We simply cannot afford $2,500 for a Penske truck. This is just poor etiquette. Don't tell someone you have a truck for them to move in if you indeed do not have a truck. Appearantly, this has happened to other people quite often. Fix it.

We had driven 3 hrs to empty the locker asked staff to help us thought it was the lock it wasn't. After waiting over an hour finally an outside person cut the lock off. This unit has no seals or caulk on the end and all the cattail fluff ended up inside along with many spiders dead and live. Lots of things we would have taken were garbage. Not good customer service.

Wendy D.The pickup location was very helpful. The drop off location - i will never do business with nor recommend to anyone. I paid to have my U-Boxes delivered on a certain day. Being that my boxes arrived 3 days earlier than anticipated, I didnt think having them delivered on time. When I called to confirm my divert date and time, I was told my boxes would not be delivered on time because they had no available trucks. Not a big deal, just pushed delivery by one day. We paid to have movers help / offload the containers. I confirmed change of dates and times with the movers and on the day of the delivery, they never showed up! When I contacted them, they told me they forgot about me and they would have to reschedule. They arrived the next day. I paid and received a confirmation that my boxes would be picked up two (2) days after delivery. Uhaul never showed up. When I called to inquire about it, they said the driver was on their way and that's all they could tell me. After another two days had gone by, we received another confirmation that the containers would be picked up. Again, Uhaul never showed up. I called the following day, explained that I needed the boxes picked up because if not, I wpuld be charged another $600 for keeping the boxes past the deadline to return them. Finally, Uhaul arrived the next day to pick up the containers. When we called to confirm that morning, we were told we were scheduled for the last stop of the day. I definitely do not recommend and will absolutely never do business with Uhaul again.

We were never notified, our unit was left without a lock for months before we returned several months later to find our lock missing and the shavings of where it was cut on the floor. Because this was one of several units at this facility, we are not aware at this time if anything was taken. I do believe uhaul had a responsibility to contact us. We purchased all four locks on our units from them. They really should have replaced the cut one.
