Andrew T.The staff were friendly both picking up and dropping off. They were full of motivation and energy and answered all my questions. The only items that I feel like could be improved is having more than two people scheduled at opening as the amount of customers at 7 am exceeded 9 and the two gentlemen on the clock did their best but still had a long wait time(45 minutes and I was third in line). The second is not having a direct line to the store and having to wait to talk to a person on the 800number.

The employee who helped us around 7am that day was very patient and kind despite him being the only employee left to manage the front check in for who knows how long. He had a line of about 5-6 people almost as soon as he opened, not sure if that us normal or just a good day of business.... but my point is two employees capable of managing the front should be working at all times. That is just practical business management. He handled it absolutely well, and I had no problem waiting. He didn't seem stressed out, but at least one other customer was running their mouth and I partially feel like their frustration was justified despite his best efforts. I feel like giving the opening crew additional staff would be extremely helpful to both them and customers. If this is not optional due to cheapness, adjust the website pick up times to be more spread puf for at least the first two hours. This will reduce the amount of customers impatiently waiting. Not only are the customers in a hurry to get their day started, but the employees are also still trying to wake up (I imagine, as a manager and human being myself). I don't know what this man currently makes, but I am betting it sure as he'll isn't enough regardless. Also, update your damn computer system so that all valid drop off locations are listed on both the customers phone AND the business's system. Basic shit guys, come on.

Jim S.I reserved 2 furniture dollies in the reservation at the web site. The location only had 1 dolly available. They said the dollies were not guaranteed. This was a critical part of my move. This system needs to be addressed.
Michael C.When I stopped by to make sure my hitch was good to go for my trailer rental, Gage was amazing! Sold me what I needed and helped me know how to put it on. On the day I rented, he and Eric were heroes. Eric would not quit finding the right electrical solution to make everything just right (for my european car). Tom C.Latch to back door was a little rusted and made it difficult to close back. Had to use DW 40 and whatever else we could find to lubricate handle. Door would not lock. Caused delay in moving by about 15mins. Other than that good service.

The call me on the day I was paying movers 85.00 buggy me about where and when I was brings the truck back in 2 days telling me I had to bring it back to there location and it cost me another 35.00 in gas . Then they called me the next day all while I was moving and was rude and said I had to drop off at there location got me so upset my blood pressure went up very high!! All before my truck was even due back. I took it back 1 day early . This was the worse part of moving dealing with them. The last girl was very rude and needs a lesson in customer service!!
DEBRA R.2 female senior citizens had to move a 2 bdrm, house without a utility dolly because they never supplied the one i paid for. The truck was sticky and old food on the floor. The sent me to a place that was closed to return the truck. It was unpleasant to say the least.

Charles L.I have given a 5 star rating because of your great staff and rental facilities but honestly don't feel comfortable recommending your storage. It was very uncomfortable moving in because the area is so unsecured and totally open to anyone. I had transients walk through just in the short time I was there unloading and there is garbage and signs of transient use behind my unit. I really think you should consider fencing the area and allow access only to customers. That being said I am grateful to have a place to put my things and for the free month that came with my trailer rental. I hope it stays secure. $1000 insurance could never cover the loss of keepsakes and property. Best wishes, Richard

My order was mysteriously canceled and I had to call to fix it then I was never told it was an indoor storage unit up a flight of stairs and that was NOT what I needed(the redbluff uhaul storage set up was what I expected) And the redding location doesn't honor the free month and they had such limited availability they couldn't even give me the correct size. Ive never had any issues renting trucks and equipment but my experience with the storage aspect really tainted my trust. I hope your employees are clearer in the future.

It's completely unacceptable. The toilet in this facility also constantly has feces all down the back of the toilet bowl. Same exact situation 3 years ago when I rented there, no change.

Not alot of confidence in the security offered seeing as anyone can ignore the security and just come in. Have a drive up unit, which was sketchy. I'm 50 and can hop th edd fence easily. did purchase insurance, but I did not get the impression that that matters.

Edward B. | Overall ExperienceAbout half way through my stay, a Uhaul rep called me and stated they would need to cut my lock off to install new security system. I gave them approval as long as they put another one on and left me a key at the front desk. After my wife tried to get the key she was told they would never do that. After about a week of trying they finally came out to remove the lock again (assuming we locked ourselves out) and came to the realization that they had the key in one of their drawers up front. Pretty disappointed at how much of my wife and I's time was wasted. Facilities are incredibly expensive compared to local storage.

The wait times are excessive. Every call is transferred to at least 3 other "departments" and sometimes you MUST go to the local UHaul to have your question answered or need resolved. Corporate is terrible. Local is amazing! Local phone contact would be even better. Thank you, Cyprus Redding UHaul for all your help!
