Upon arrival at the location the appliance dolly was not in the truck, I added tv boxes to the order and no one offered to help me get them in the truck. As a woman I expect one of the two men who were in the building to offer to lift the dolly. When I got in the truck it was dirty on the inside the cup holder had sticky stuff in it which is a clear sign that it was not cleaned in between uses. The truck needed serviced, it barely wanted to get to 35 mph, and it did not want to stray the maintenance brake light was on. Upon delivery I advise the rep that before the truck was rented again it needed service he asked why I told him and the truck didn't want to start for him. I will never rent againTiffany S.

Staff is very kind and professional. Storage units are clean but there were a few bugs crawling in my unit that had to be killed during my move in.David G.
Biggest issue we had is the elevators are so small . We reserved an 8 x 10 unit in climate control which is on the 5th floor. We didn't have a huge couch but it would not fit in the elevator and stairwell was too tight to even carry it up the stairs. Ended up having to take it to a dumpster because we had no way to get it to the storage unit we reserved. Unit was clean and everything else went well but FYI - if you have big items they will NOT fit in the elevator- not even sure anything larger than a twin mattress would fit.Rebecca D. | First Impressions
Juan is top notch. Absolutely amazing. Very patient and knowledgeable. Kylie was also fantastic with us. We moved from Tennessee and had quite a few complications throughout with our prior U-HAUL location for truck pick up. To meet individuals like this after the rough start was very appreciated. they didn't have the 5x8x8 unit i reserved on the first floor, had to do 5th floor. I barely got there before it closed but that's my fault for not checking office hours vs access hours. the alarm kept going off while we were loading things in even though i had swiped in, i also had to swipe in over and over again which was tedious. and the elevators were very small for furniture and it was difficult. other than that it was fine , the employees were very nice and helpful.Sophie G. | First Impressions

I had reserved a 13' x 11' storage unit for $146.00 a month. When I got to check-in, I was told there were no more 13' x 11' storage units left and was told the only option was two 8' x 10' units next to each other. That's more space I get that but I was also told I needed to pay for both of those separately and after tax it would be $202.36. So they didn't have the unit I reserved and instead of fixing their mistake, their burden falls on my wallet. They gave me a month free of storage, great but that doesn't help the budget I have because I plan to store my stuff for a few months. I was told the GM would call me and "sort all of the out." Sure. The cherry on top is that I was told they did not have any more disk locks that come free with each unit so I was told I had to buy two locks and they required them to be uhaul locks. So, at the end of the day I was planning on paying $146/month for a 13' x 11' unit and ended up being required to pay $202.36/month for two 8' x 10' units and $21.56 for locks. Everything was good except one inconvenience. I ordered an appliance dolly with the truck. The store with the truck didn't have a dolly, so I got one at a different location. I also had to return the truck and dolly to their locations, causing another inconvenient trip to the second location. The employee that gave us the dolly was not customer friendly.ROCKY P.

Rented me wrong size unit It was not cleaned Top of u it was not covered during g Construction and my unit and all my stuff is full of dry wall dust and not one offered to do anything g about it. Holes drilled in unit after rented to attach things outside of unit. Barely missing by personal belongings. And I can go one.... I can talk and ask what r they going to do and they blow it off and pretty much told t's my fault I rented while they r still construction. What a way to treat customer!! One thing was fixed and it wasn't done enough to my satisfaction. Which was to cover my whole initial fro. The buuted up unit to reaching in and getting my stuff. They still can reach and was told well not everyone will pack so so high . Which dnt matter cause they still reach mine just more convenient to reach in mine of they do pack high. Again ... Appalled on such treatment. To busy care....I want my stuff cleaned and moved to the right size unit and a discount for such awlful dissmal of customer service conduct. I wouldn't refer I to a flea or rat. Apparently they all ready occupy the facility during open hours to you as a uhaul company fix this...darn mess. The loading area for the ground floor is very inconvenient. The cars back up in one line and we have to wait for each other to finish moving in order to back out. When we went to access the storage unit, an additional lock had been placed on the unit. I had to walk back upstairs to find someone to remove it with the explanation being that their system wasn't accurate with which units were already rented, so they added locks to all of them.(?????) My only complaint was the access to the first level where my storage unit is located. There is one steep drive down to the entrance. We made 3 trips and each time we were either blocked in by someone else or we were blocking someone in. Made reservation online; upon arrive it was not available and only 1 unit half the size of my minimum requirements was made available. Additional charges from move-in truck promised to be comped but had to fight to get them to hold up their own promises; still not credited. Beware of this location! The staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was very nice & clean. However, the location didn't have the unit size I had reserved weeks in advance. They offered a larger unit with one free month, but this still resulted in a higher cost for me. So, I would end up paying for the company's failure. Due to my time constraints, I went ahead with the rental, in spite pf the additional cost. But while being shown my rented unit, I asked for the access code and was told that the unit was accessible only during business hours. This meant closing at 8:00pm, rather than the 10:00pm advertised online. This made the unit useless to me, as it wouldn't work with my schedule. Consequently, I had to find another storage facility and incur additional costs, not to mention wasting more time. All this due to U-haul's failure to provide the reserved product and honor the advertised hours. While the staff was friendly and the facility well maintained, U-haul failed the basics: providing the advertised product.
