the young man there was excellent, friendly, and helpful. the location is very convenient. ALL good!
Scott P.We had to wait almost 30 minutes to get waited on even after we reserved a truck online. And checking in the truck took even longer as there was a line of returns with no employees waiting on people. It was a very frustrating experience. There simply is not enough help at this site to handle the volume.

The job got done thanks to a wonderful Moving guy named Kevin, but I cannot get my money back.. It further complicates things that UHaul and Moving operate separately. What a mess. I will never use uHaul again.

How about posting a QR code in the parking area that will launch an app (or website) that then lets me enter my phone number, it pulls up my rental details and I can tell you what spot or lane the vehicle or trailer is in. Even have an option to add photos of the rental.

Mark S.Equipment is always in good condition, but the keys when using the app are NEVER where they are supposed to be located. Wrong box - not in a box - thrown on a desk - hanging on the board behind the counter - etc. This means you are still waiting in line even though the app's goal is not to have to do that very thing. Furthermore, the staff is always frustrated with me as a customer (this past Saturday, I was chastised because I was unaware of what the code might have been for the vehicle I was renting - they needed to find the key again due to being in a wrong box) because I need to get in and out and don't want to wait the 1/2 hour to an hour to get a key that has been misplaced.

paul M.I reserved a truck at the Marlborough location, when I arrived there nobody was there. I called the number that I found on website nobody knows anything. Finally they reserved a truck for me at Northborough location, but when I got there they did not have the truck only van. I pay the same price and I spent more gas and miles because I had to do more trips, the person in there told me she was going to give me a mileage discount but it never happened. Terrible experience. I'm not going to use this service anymore in my life.

The only issue we had was with the Uhaul central organization that answered the phone and set up our reservation for a truck and the storage unit. They reported incorrect business hours, which delayed our move by over 2 hours. The facility was actually opened and staffed at 7 am, but Uhaul told us they didn't open until 9, which delayed our move and packing team.

Robert F.The IT system that handles reservations and checkouts needs to be improved. Even though I completed the online fast checkout, I was still asked some of the same questions when I arrived. I understand that for trailers the hitch needs to be connected and verified, but questions about pricing and add-on protection do not need re-asking.

Andrew V.Your system does not work for temporary liscence. When you renew your Luanne in state of MA, they give you a paper version to use until your new one arrives in2-3 weeks. You should either tell people this or fix it. Lady at counter helped me fix it, but I was lucky to get there during open office hrs and would have had a huge problem it I had been 30 later

Thomas G.Be honest about needing all parts to the hitch. I was told UHAUL would set me up with the hitching. When I got there, I was told I had to buy a ball joint to go into my hitch. This should be provided to the customer, especially since I asked specifically about this ahead of time. I had to pay just over $30.00 for it.

Thom N.The equipment return after hours was terrible. The contract states that after hours return requires online check-out via website. When I visited the website (during my after hours return), I was asked for my name and phone number to lookup the reservation. However, the website dis not have an option to check out. Why should a customer be penalized for non-compliance when the instructions are not clear on after hours return? Why not, have a paper form to fill-out and place in the drop box, since internet and websites can be difficult to access at all times? The policy to penalize a customer if they cant use their smartphone to check out (after hours) is unacceptable. There should be a alternative to smartphone checkout, like a paper form system at the return location.

I picked the drop off location, then received a text saying a different location after I had already dropped it off. When I got to the original location my trailer drop off wasn't in the system so he had to search for it.

Andrew S.I was renting a trailer - 5X8. It had a lot of time and miles on the unit which was fine, however the tie down bars inside were either missing or not attached to the wall. It pulled fine and the lights all worked.
Richard Y.Double axle trailers are very heavy. Should have a jack or lift attached to trailer tongue. Too heavy for Uhaul associate and I had trouble taking it off my trailer hitch.

My code didn't work ("User ID not recognized") and the card key that the woman gave to me returned an error, "Not checked in yet". The woman on duty tried several times to resolve it without any luck. It might have been the system needed time to register me as a new customer. Facility was perfect, particularly liked the drive-in garage. The unit itself was very dusty - so maybe a pre-move in sweep could be one additional improvement. ¡Gracias!

Instead they told me to call the 1-800 number or come back the next day to speak to a manager. Other than that experience that had me waiting at the front desk for almost a hour trying to figure that out, it was good. The facility was clean and secure and easily accessible.

Who was upset as there was some billing issues and not recorded properly? I had emptied the storage two months ago and did inform the young lady at the desk. I have tried calling and emailing them but no response. Finally, I was able to speak to a gentleman and informed him about this ordeal, and made it to the house. Alhamdulliah

The level of customer support provided by him was on another level, I'm ashamed I can't remember his name but the experience I had overall is something I will remember and will certainly try to put into practice myself. Oh the bathroom, I try to avoid public bathrooms as much as possible specially during this time, but to my pleasant surprise IT WAS SUPER CLEAN!!!! Also how I was able to set some items aside for recycling another person may use, it was great. The clothing donations bins on site was extremely convenient. The MONTH FREE storage for renting a vehicle was a blessing! Management, cleanliness, storage/truck availability, indoor heat fan by the garage door. Ok you guys did it, this store did it and that man should be the face of your advertisement. I pray God bless and protect each one of you, and thank you for making our lives a little bit less stressful during these difficult times.

The garage door had come down in the middle of the hotter summer months and this created a humid environment. The sliding glass security doors between the parking area and the storage units was very foggy. Because of these changed conditions and being closer to the front, my belongs had mold that I had to spray/wipe down upon move out.

daivd v. | Overall ExperienceWe measured UHaul's superiority over the competition in the following areas: - Customer service: We worked with Felix and Sarah in the Northborough location and they were truly remarkable. This aspect stood out most to us. Sarah went the extra mile to reserve two different sized storage units for us that were across from each other to ensure our convenience. Felix dedicated his time to both us and the movers and made the actual move date very efficient. - Cost: Comparable to the competition, but at this cost, the competition's storage units were not indoors and heated and did not sell moving supplies. - Moving supplies: Order a little more than you think you need and save the receipt. We returned all unused boxes and unopened items for a full refund. We were very happy about this! If you opt to order supplies online, allow for free delivery 2-3 weeks prior to move date. - Heated indoor storage (as stated above). - Several sizes of storage compartments from which to choose. - Access hours were far better than ALL of the area competition! - Indoor lightining and cameras go far to ensure security of belongings. Recommend that phone and in-person communication may provide a more fruitful experience than using the online. Seeing supplies before you buy and taking advantage of professional expertise will leave you satisfied.
