Mabon S.UHaul first canceled my original truck rental with no compensation or even apology. This reservation was made for a different location, but again I received a call saying I had to go to another location. I opted for counter rental only to be told in the store I had to use the online services, which did not work. It took me nearly an hour to get checked out with the truck, which seriously cut into my time. When I returned the truck, I was unable to take proper photos because the service message for tires was on and the mileage was not displayed long enough for the fuel gauge to come all the way up. The person I worked with to rent the truck was very helpful, but the technology was not working well for him either. This will be my last rental with UHaul, there are better options even if they are more expensive. I would rather pay the money than deal with the hassle.

I have old phone, I'm not a 12 year old kid doing this all day, limited memory, and even if I did, I think being forced to download something to do business with U Haul makes the company a first class A-hole. I will not do it. If U haul requires this, then I will go elsewhere to rent. Fire the newly minted MBA that thought this was a good idea.

Let the customer have the option of wanting the dolly and furniture blankets that are in the back of the 15ft and larger trucks. Stephanie was FANTASTIC, very professional and really made the rental experience less stressful!!

gustavo G.Your insistence on a cell phone return is ridiculous. Give the customer an option and explain the process BEFORE a customer leaves. I needed help returning the rig, forgot to return the key (nobody asked, either) and had to return again wasting 40 minutes. Night running lights on trailer didn't work, fortunately didn't need to use it at night. They were not checked when i picked up the rig, guess they assumed it would be ok. Have rented here before and their equipment is in good shape, this was an anomaly.

The number on the truck couldn't find it should had been waiting for us to pick it up wasn't at the lot So they gave us another truck number that we located the truck we've been told to go to lock box number 8 but there was only up to 6 number. So we emailed them back they gave us another location that was 3 miles away we went there looking for lock box did not see it so we left afterward we knew that the lock box was on the truck.we contacted back again to say we're going back to our original location but now we been told the truck that we saw was reserved. Since the switched us the location. To make it short than they sent us to another location 4 miles away and finally we got the truck the girl that helped me was superb. Just to note this ordeal happened at 7:00am on Sunday and they open at 9:00 am. With all thing happened I like U-Haul
Harout H.I understand U-Haul has a new system in place for checking in, but nothing was working when trying all methods to get my iPhone to recognize the location (everything was tried). I asked the girl at the front desk to check me in, the first time she said she could not do it because Corp wanted customers to get used to the new system. When I asked what then am I supposed to do, she finally said "OK I guess I'll just do it, even if I get in trouble". This is UNACCEPTABLE!! Terrible customer service. Should never make a customer feel like the burden is on them just because U-Haul has a new system? Plus, clearly the system has issues as we tried everything to get the location services to work. You should fix this bug in your app and allow the user to manually add the location by zip code with a pop up menu to choose the location they are renting from. I wasted an extra 30 minutes of my time on this which added additional expenses I had to pay to the movers that were waiting on me with the truck.

We got a smaller truck which ended up being bad for us, we had to make two runs but it has nothing to do with your staff. Either way, whoever we dealt with was extremely pleasant, quick and got us taken care of. He was also flexible when we were late returning our truck.

When I asked her for her for assistance, she kept on ignoring my request and kept going back to her phone. Beata V.It was frustrating having to do the online part, It felt SLOWER than when the person at the desk helps to rent the uhaul. I had already started the process at home but then at home it froze several times. Then in person at uhaul I was able to complete the process, but then for some reason, after I added one contact's information to confirm me, the person made me put in a SECOND person's contact information. Why? It wasted time and all it was, was a phone call confirming to them that I was renting a uhaul. It seemed so pointless and wasted 30 min of my time. So I had scheduled for pick up at 0900, but didn't get the truck until 0930, and I had put that I would return by 1400, but because it took 30 min to do the setup, I believe they should have added 30 min to my drop back off time to 1430. THANKFULLY I actually was able to finish BEFORE 1400 anywas, but it added stress and rushing in my head that I was going to be late. Other than that, I really appreciate the uhaul girl with the longer hair, I don't know her name, she is so knowledgeable and is able to hook up and put things together and is on top of things. She's great at her job!

Jorge G.I ordered a 10x10, it kept showing up online as a 5x5x8. Once I arrived in California, only half of my stuff could fit. I had to drive 17 miles to my cousin's to store the rest. Your staff was no help at all and the girl up front acted like I was inconveniencing her. It wasn't until the next day when I returned my truck, that Stephanie was the only one extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate.
