I ordered a furniture dolly, which was not available. It made my move much more difficult and laborious. It would be helpful if a real-time equipment inventory was maintained by location to ensure customers have what we've ordered. Paul was very accommodating and provided an appliance dolly instead, but it ultimately proved ineffective since I had no appliances to move. ¡Gracias!Richard Q.
No problems with the pickup location or the drop off location. My problem was with during the trip. I had a tire blow out on a car hauler. Was stuck on the side of a busy, dangerous highway for over 2 hours. Tried using uhaul roadside but that was useless.Jerome B.

Reserved a U-Haul 2 days in advanced. The person who was responsible for dispatching the truck left work early that day due to a rainy day, or at least this was communicated to us by the person behind the counter. (??) This resulted on us having to scramble for a last minute U-Haul on the same day, further than what we planned on, adding more miles to the trip. $$ This delayed our committed time to client by 4 hours, almost canceling the entire transaction. Our reservation was scheduled at 6:30pm on a Wednesday. We were able to have keys on our hands by 8:30pm, arriving to our destination by 9:30pm The next location that we were sent to was closing up by the time we arrived so we got directed to an online reservation. This sounded simple, but due to a thunderstorm passing by, we got soaked for the hour we were trying to find the truck and unlock the key from the locker. The lock was also not working properly and was set against the wall in a way that took us 20 minutes to open with the assistance of CX on the phone. To add, my phone was wet and running at 5% battery from spending the last hours trying to arrange this solution to our original reservation. Our truck was empty on gas, so we had to add gas in order to make it to our destination. The whole things was an ordeal. I would not wish this level of business experience on any person.Lucas S.

I wasn't informed the truck automatically starts in tow mode, there was also a loose portion of the floor in the back of the truck that I tripped on and it hurt my right knee and ankle, but I had to power through it since I couldn't afford to have someone else come move me. The attention of customer service was really bad. The explanation The man gave us was not clear enough and confusing. The vehicle was almost out of gas when the man told us it had a full tank filled with gas. I took a picture of the mileage before and after my rental and I drove 18.5 miles. According to them I drove a total of 65 miles. I only realize this when I open up my bank account. I went back to the store and ask them about it and the owner said that they forgot to note the starting mileage of my truck. They are not sure how they got 65 miles.Lester M.

My order was confirmed for pick-up prior to the location opening. The store did not place the key in a lock box so I had to wait until the location opened to obtain the truck. The pickup was smooth and the employees were nice, but the equipment was faulty and I cant help but feel we were given the worst vehicle because it was a one-way rental from FL to TX and that truck was sputtering and drinking gas the whole way. It cost us almost $700 in additional fuel costs because of the bad truck.Chelsa C.

Truck was rented for a one day 10 rental and returned on time at 6:30 on Saturday 6/25/22 and parked next to the office. Clerk at the counter told me to leave the key at the counter and I could go so I did. Final receipt was double of what it should've been because return wasn't logged into the system until next day. I rented several extra items. They were in the back of the truck so I did not check them. When I needed the package dolly the wheels were so bad on it we couldn't even use it. It was pretty clear that there was a problem with the bearings or something. I was surprised that I was given that item except that I've rented it one way so why not give that person an item that is not in perfect shape. Other than that I was happy with the rentalMichael S.

The above average is due to staff going above and beyond to make sure we found a perfect storage unit even though they didn't have any available. The sizes are confusing on the website. I booked a unit for 2 rooms. I got there to find out that it was the size of a bathroom. Not sure wht 2 rooms are that size but okay. I was refunded my full amount without issues. The employees left me to unload my car off the trailer by watching a video! Then did not help me get into the storage unit! Told me to watch a video to get into the unit which was too small and it started raining! The unit was to small for my furniture and I had to leave the truck for an additional day! The customer service by the site employees was the worst I ever had!!! Ever! I shouldn't be charged for another day of having to keep the truck! After driving 2 hrs by myself!!BRIDGETTE T.
The truck we were assigned broke down 2 hours into our 20 hour trip and had to be replaced. That process was a fiasco. I'll look for another opportunity to comment on that. The pick-up location in Ybor City was very nice, timely, clean, etc. No issues whatsoever.Rolfe T.

I reserved a furniture dolly. There wasn't one available and they acted like they couldn't control it which speaks to a bigger corporate problem. They gave me a different dolly but claimed it didn't require pins. It did. The truck was not clean and in cleaning it my contents were removed and not replaced which made it necessary for me to return to the site to pick back up. this was really no reflection of the employee who did what he could and went above and beyond to clean the truck for me. But the experience was awful. I wasn't charged for the dolly or the mattress cover and I felt like that was adequate compensation since the truck ran but that's a pretty low bar.Michael M.

Kevin is awesome-the definition of a great property manager. Building is tired-lots of termite droppings from active swarming and plenty of dead palmetto bugs when I moved out were hiding in and around my stuff-and they didn't ride in on my stuff-this property needs better pest control, but it is Florida after all. The only reason why I gave the rating I gave is when I moved out 11/20/21 I saw a pair of work boots chewed on some boxes chewed on ( saw that when I got some time to look at it) but when I was done moving out the storage and cleaning it I saw rat droppings some dead roaches. And I know its rate because moving in the storage I had to tell one of the employees that a dolly had rat droppings on it. But I already paid for my storage. I really did have a good experience using this facility. The only thing that I wish they would look into is a bigger elevator with AC. It's like oxygen countdown once those doors close and I had a bit of a hard time getting my couch inn. But outside of that I have no complaints. Upon arriving, there was a long line because there were only two store employees and one was on lunch. I easily waited 30 minutes before being helped. However, I didn't mind because I was acknowledged and told I would be helped as soon as possible. Once I was helped, I was able to have the promotion honored and get my unit free for a month since I rented a truck which was super helpful because I just moved from Indiana. Since I was able to save money on storage that allowed me to be able to allocate those funds towards other expenses. Lastly, since there was only one employee working the store he couldn't show me where my unit was but he told me to come back if I couldn't find it. I attempted to find my unit but had no idea how to get to it since it was 102, a ground unit. However, I ran into mech 1, I believe, and she took me to my unit. I really appreciated how every employee even those not working in the store were super helpful and to me that's what made my visit above average!Stephanie B. | First Impressions

The issue is your outdated facility, the elevator broke down as we were starting, turning a one hour unload into a 3.5 hour job that cost over $350.00. However I rented a truck from them for my move , they gave it to me early, with only a little under a quarter tank and told me it was full. I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip.
