The enclosed trailer worked very well to move my son from one apartement to another.

Ronald N.Only thing with the van I used was the windshield wipers streaked and mad it hard to clear windshield. No rain during my rental but in the morning clearing the windshield. The gas powered Ford van with the V10 is impressive! And vehicle was in great shape!

We had a truck in winston seeing that's where we live and where moving however moving day said location had no trucks. We ended up having to drive all they way to high point to get a truck. I will never again use nor recommend this company

Lawrence A.Your service is RIDICULOUSLY expensive for what you get. We were charged 3 times for transit when we shouldn't have been. You got things wrong over and over again and had to call to clarify and then still messed it up.

I was given a 'VIP' rate, but, U-haul didn't know about it, so the final straw was a notice stating my items would be sold for non-payment. the employee thought my concerns were funny. POOR customer service. however, the last employee was absolutely the BEST! I wouldn't have left U-haul if the quality of all of the employees was like him. He even signed my final receipt. this was the only signed receipt that I got.

Bruce M. | First ImpressionsHI! We popped a tire an hour into our trip to Sarasota Florida. It took about 21/2 hours to get someone there to fix it. I know from looking online that this can be a problem. (someone reported having to wait 8 hours) I know that this is a difficult situation for you all so I have the following ideas to help: 1. Have the manager show the customer where the spare tire is in the vehicle. 2. Have the manager show where the jack is located and describe how to get to the tire. (There is a bolt holding the tire against the bottom of the back end of your Ford Transport 250. 3. Have the tire changer person bring a spare as well as a tire change. 4. One could put a spare in the back of the van itself along with a jack and some pressurized air. 5. Could there be an app to help with this? It could list all your mechanics in the area and where they are and how long it would take them to get there. (You could sell it! ) 6. Perhaps you could partner with AAA to add to your fleet of mechanics. 7. Hire more telephone operators to reduce peak time waits of 30 minutes or more. Your people were courteous and did their jobs well. Overall the experience was nice. I will recommend U-Haul in the future. Sincerely Mike

ADESAL J. | Overall ExperienceWe originally reserved a truck and car hauler. They had the truck but we had to drive an additional 40 miles round trip to pick up the car hauler. The dropoff instructions on our truck rental were different than the dropoff for the car hauler and we had to drive about 35 miles round trip to drop of the truck only to learn this was the wrong place. Sorry, but this is the last time we will ever use UHaul.

Ava S.The turck was not full of fuel as they represented. I learned midtrip that the needle went will past Full when full. Probably ripped me for 5 gallons. Truck without sufficient oil. After I drove 200 miles the "low oil" waring appeared. Checked dip stick. Sure enough. it was dry. That cost me 2 quarts of oil at atruck stop.

He denied the fact THAT he did it and REFUSED TO LOOK AT THE RECIEPT I had obtained from Corporate. HE WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. NO RECORDS EXIST FOR THAT TRANSACTION BUT I HAVE AUDIO AND VIDEO OF HIM DENYING THAT HE DID IT... I HAVE INDISPUTABLE PROOF FROM MY BANK AND A RECEIPT SHOWING THE TRANSACTION.
NATHAN C. | Overall ExperienceMy overall experience with U-Haul was TERRIBLE! The unit (1810) had a horrible odor that developed after the first few days. The smell was much like a dead animal or rodent. But my main problem was the LACK OF COMMUNICATION that existed. Even though I paid my bill I received three (3) "Pre-Lien" letters stating stating I had not paid my bill. When I told the manager he stated "those letters are from Corporate, they don't mean anything, just throw them away." This made no sense. Why didn't the manager simply inform corporate my bill was paid?

There was so much moisture in the unit Rats/mice droppings aplenty were found in my unit. They ate thru some of my things. I saw that rat poison black box was put in my unit. I had to throw things away cause i saw rat droppings on them. Truly disgusting. I was not warned about rats.
