Wipe the interiors of the trucks down on a routine schedule, maybe after a few uses. The parts people touch all the time get dirty and sticky quickly.Lori S.

We were not notified of issues when charging our card, our boxes arrived and we were not notified and were going to be charged for a storage fee. The employees my husband picked up our boxes from in Flint were extremely unprofessional and quite honestly did not have their crap together. They had the incorrect boxes ready and made my husband wait an unprecedented amount of time to get our boxes. We called repeatedly and asked for copies of our receipts and my husband was hung up on numerous times. After I was told we would be emailed them, we never received them and just gave up on this company. The only good mention was the woman who initially dropped off our boxes in Oceanside. She was kind and professional. Other than that, an awful experience and I would not recommend. Uhaul has definitely lost my future business.Hannah D.

I couldn't check out at the desk because the facility only had 2 workers and it was super busy so I don't know what my final bill is and its been 12 hours since I checked out. 1st the staff at this location is very rude. 2nd the van I rented smelled like animal feces. 3rd I was charged $280 for a two hour rental using only 15 miles. This is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had renting a U-Haul.Jonah M.

Everytime I need a trailer I look forward to the day because of the pleasure of dealing with the folks at this U-Haul. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the gentleman who hooked me up but it was a supreme white glove experience. The gentleman was knowledgeable about trailer safety and gave me great advice. I can't wait for the next time I need a trailer and advise management to look up who helped me because it was outstanding. It's uncanny how often people gripe about no one wanting to work anymore and yet this U-Haul has a crew who always will go the extra mile. Very friendly super polite and went out of his way to educate me. I can't thank you enough for the concern of my and my families safety.MATTHEW R.
Trouble with the pick up process using my phone. Would not let me into pick up process because something to do with location services??? Luckily they were open so the people inside helped me out. Don't promise a reservation and say don't worry we can accommodate you if you can't keep it. I was told I could drop off the truck at a convenient location. I called by uhaul rep the day before due to pick up the rental truck and was told my rental would not be available for pick up at the location promised and I either had to drive 36 miles to pick up at a different site or I would not get a truck. The location I went to was less than sympothetic since the were not the ones who called me. I was given a discount and extra miles but the stress of making changes to the move schedule was not needed. The truck was dirty, not swept out there was sticky coffee or soda spilled on the console. I have always have good luck with Uhaul but this time was not a good experience.Linda P.

Scheduled a pick up at one location got there on my scheduled day the trailer not available. He calls another location they have a trailer an additional cost which they are going to charge the sam price. With gas prices and time to complete the transaction was trying as the schedule was a mess. We did complete our task. Went to return, pulled in the area as directed. Waited, waited, and wa. I had to call in the store to finally get assistance. He also answered the first time with u-hail he corrected the name. Had a pickup booked for the morning and was not able to get it because someone else didn't bring back. Had to settle for a van. That was fine! Made it work.!! Also was told that I won't be charged to my card till we get back with the vehicle and still had to charge the card after she said it was ok to come back and pay. I found the staff to be friendly however, I had many problems, most importantly, I feel as though I was completely over-charged with over $600 in fees for a truck rental and a storage unit. I have to go through and figure out what all the charges are for and the receipts don’t even specify so I have no way of knowing. I do know I got charged $38 for fuel when the truck was returned on 1/2 tank just as it was when I picked it up. Initially the storage unit I had was far too small and was no a drive up so that put my move behind a whole day. Also I had to come back for the dollies I rented because they forgot to load them. That also put my move behind. I had to come back up there because no one would answer the phone. I would not recommend this uhaul store.Christina D. | First Impressions

Read in a few places it was 24/7 self storage but it’s only accessible between 7am and 10pm which really isn’t an inconvenience unless you’re trying to work through the night to move out on a deadline but it isn’t 24/7. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with it. I would recommend uhaul storage to anyone. For the climate controlled storage and the ease of access it’s well worth it.Bryan E. | Online Move In

Without GOOD PERSONAL SERVICE, turn off the lights, drop the sign AND throw away the keys!!! FOR REAL!!! The Flint Miller Road U-Haul has been there for me for more than a decade thru several moves and storage unit rentals. I always was treated with respect by dedicated professionals under Melissa's leadership. Actually, making a cross-country move means I no longer will be seeing these kind individuals - Melissa, Barb, David, Daryl, and others. They had become trusted friends and I will miss them. Almost all of the employees and associates who work at this facility are extremely kind and are a pleasure to engage with. It's incredible how courteous and accommodating everyone is. This is a sign of great leadership from the top down. They seem as though they're treated fairly and are fully trusted to do their job well.
