I dropped the truck off on Sunday after hours. With the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. I was charged 65.70 the next day. It had the gas, it was early and I get charged. Won't do business again.

LUANN S.First and foremost, one of the employees look visibly dirty. The first employee I dealt with literally had dirt in her hair, and looked like she hadn't showered in a few days. With COVID still running rampant, it is off putting to see someone working behind the desk with poor hygiene. Secondly, it took talking to 2 people and waiting over 45 minutes to get the keys to both the truck and storage unit. The storage unit I reserved wasn't available, and I was told, "well this is what we have" when I asked why the unit I was promised wasn't available. And the only option I was given was to purchase a more expensive unit. Third, when I went to examine the storage unit, there were no lock and keys, so I had to go back in the main office AGAIN. Fourth, when I finally got a chance to inspect the moving truck I reserved, after having to walk around the parking lot to look for it because no one could tell me exactly where it was, both the mileage and gas were inaccurate, the link that was provided to correct these did not work, and I had to go back in the office 3 times for an actual employee to make the changes in the computer. Then, when I asked for another print out with accurate figures, the employee refused, saying that I should have used the link that wasn't working. If today wasn't Sunday and I had any other option, I would not be renting a storage unit from UHAUL because your customer service was horrendous and I frankly never want to come back to that location again.

Louie B.I'm disappointed with the scheduling process for this particular truck. I reserved the truck for 24 hours on a Monday. I received an email on Wednesday that I needed to return the truck after 7 hours of use. I thought the second email was a mistake and waited until pickup to resolve the time. I still had to return the truck after 7 hours because of an over-booking.
Douglas R.We scheduled online for 16 hours and got to the store and they completely changed the time we had to return the vehicle. Even after I showed the surly cashier my proof of reservation, she just commented "you can either take the truck or you don't." This exact same thing happend to the family in front of us and they simply walked out. I will never use Uhaul again.
Denis W.I spoke to a different representative on the phone from the Talmadge ave./East Akron location for my booking. While this location (V. Odom) was very helpful and managed to help me correct the issue, I found when I went to pick up the truck that the booking was NOT for the amount of time I had originally requested! I was very clear over the phone that I would need the equipment for two days and my Reservation was made for only one. As if that wasn't enough, the MORNING OF my move I received a call that the equipment wouldn't be available for when I had booked it. After hours of phone tag, the V. Odom location was able to help me get a vehicle but still caused me to be over two hours late on my move out time. I was told I'd receive a credit since my reservation was altered and didn't receive that credit either. Overall, a really terrible experience on top of the stress of moving.

Guillermo . P.Rented a trailer for 2 days. I had a change in plans and returned it in 4 hours. The young lady behind the desk said the entire fee is ours to keep "the same lady I rented from". I can see keeping 1 day rental fee, she should have refunded 1 day. She was very polite when I rented the trailer but was rude when I returned it 4 hours later. I was the only customer in store both times. This was the main Uhaul hub on Vodom Blvd in Akron OH.

Toby L.1. Many times the gates were open for a few days and or nights. Many cuts in fence. 2. 24 hour access would have been nice. 3. Office hours did not hinder me. 4. I got your truck and 2 days later came down with covid. Had truck 18 days but communicated with you. Made it to Akron and being still sick could not go further. Changed destination from Georgia to Akron and was charged $800 plus and then $1,700 plus To go 200 miles. You could give no consideration to me for uncontrollable sickness. I was raped by U-Haul. All thru pandemic I did my part but so many took advantage an we're unethical. The kid that checked me in was rude and disrespectful. Can't prove it 100% per say but was harassed by some staff and experienced gang stocking. Have pictures of cars at U-Haul were same cars following me. Was advised by attorney to move my belongings to different storage company but they are all the same. I think inside my unit was being video taped - and I am not being paranoid. Almost on every arrival, a siren would go off saying I was trust passing and enter the code and saying I was being video taped. Approached management but they were no help from beginning to end of my stay. Complained about all the cuts in the fence. 5. I came in winter. The units are old and dirty. I left it cleaner than when moved in. 6. 3 different people told me they had stuff missing. I am ocd and noticed things moved in my unit. So, between possible theft and the harassment, NO I would not recommend to someone I cared for.

ROBERT S.When I arrived to pick up the truck and the furniture pads I had ordered, I found out there were no pads. The person serving me said, ‘what do you want me to do, manufacturer them?' Very poor response! Equally poor that UHAUL did not let us know in advance. This is our 4th or 5th order with you. I know you can do better!

Angela W.Lower drop off fees would be great. I dragged the empty trailer back to Ohio from South Carolina because it would have doubled the price to drop it off at a U-Haul down there. When returning the trailer after hours, it was hard to find the location's trademark to scan with my phone because it was just a just a tiny part of the return instructions poster.

LINDA M. | Overall ExperienceMy issue is with your fees and all the do it yourself stuff. We have to scan our own drivers license even though we are standing in the store. We have to check out the vehicle and upload pictures for dispute before driving off. If we don't go on line to say the vehicle was returned, they have a fee for that. You even have a fee if the gas is under 1/4 tank in addition to the refuel charge. The refuel charge at almost 7 dollars, I can see. But 30.00 for the employee to put the gas in? Shame on you Uhaul.

Also, it would have been extremely nice if there were dumpsters available to put trash in (possibly even just a recycle pile for boxes/cardboard, papers, etc.) especially since I felt that the monthly cost was high and it would be a reasonable service to provide.

One employee answered her personal phone in the middle of helping a customer after the customer waited in line for almost an hour. I had a reservation for 1:00 I did not leave the facility until 3:40. The employees were arguing with eachother in front of the full line of customers also there was no manger on the shift. All 3 employees abandon the inside of the store multiple times. This occurred on May 30,2020
