Emarie R.I reserved a month in advance to have a text sent to me that the pick up place had been changed to a place far away. I called they apologized for not having a call instead, then made arrangements for a place closer. Then they called and had to change because the place didn't open early enough. The morning of pickup no one was at the place and the only contact they had was a lady on maternity leave. Finally they found a place that was open and had equipment we need. I think reservation dept needs training.

Ruben B.The customer service was very friendly and helpful but the unit we borrowed had lots of roaches inside it. It's a big problem when you're moving your clothing and furniture . The roaches may crawl into your belongings and cause a big problem in your home. I had to apply roach spray and wait for them to die before sweeping them out and loading the unit.

George H.My GUARANTEED reservation was not ready on time. The employees practically shoo-d outside by a worker and was told to call the 1800 U-Haul number. That number was starting to help when my reserved truck came in an hour late. The team did not offer any type of compensation for the late truck and my movers bailed on me for being nearly 1.5 hours late. I was in a pinch and did not get to argue the pricing despite the "$50 guarantee" that is plastered all over the website.

I didn't understand why they wouldn't put the correct gas to begin with made no sense

Juan C.The truck was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The ash tray was full of ash and cigarette butts. If the inside could be cleaned, at least a little and be smoke free that would be awesome. We have breathing problems and with the heat it made it worse. The ac didn't work very well either and in Texas in July, it was unpleasant.

RICKEY L.Poor Customer Service. Received the van with the gas tank a notch before full and returned it that way when turning the van. I was charged $9.00 for not having it exactly on full which I thought was unfair, not only that the guy at the counter helping the customers seemed unprofessional and seemed to have no experience in what he was doing. He had to call other locations for help which caused the customers to stand in line for long periods of time. I was not greeted with a smile or hello and I left feeling unappreciated of my patronage.

Several other members of the staff were surly and basically lazy. Our storage unit was discovered unlocked in June. Items such as an appliance dolly, 2 step ladder, etc were found missing upon move out. The large vanbody storage units are susceptible to break-ins due to their separate location. There is no fence or gate to protect tenants storage units.
