ANTHONY J. | Overall ExperienceWhen we walked in to rent a truck the person at the front desk was sound asleep. It was very awkward and we had a hard time waking her up. When she did wake up, I don't feel she explained to us at all the way the cost works. I thought I was paying $29.99 for a truck and I needed to put some gas in it before I brought it back. I never in a million years dreamed it would cost me $171. I would have NEVER done it if I had know that. I was just picking up some cheap used furniture that didn't even cost nearly as much as the Uhaul. Overall it was just a very negative experience.

MY RENTAL TRUCK PICK LOCATION GOT CHANGED THE EVENING B4 I WAS TO P/U THE TRUCK AND TURNED OUT ..SAME THING ALSO HAPPENED ON THE DROP OFF POINT TOO....ADDING 35+ MILES FOR ME (THE CUSTOMER) TO JOCKEY THEIR RENTAL TRUCK AROUND TO WHERE THEY NEEDED IT .. I GAVE THE TWO GENTLEMAN AT MY "ORIGINAL DESIRED U-HAUL DROP OFF POINT" ( WHICH WAS 3 MILES AWAY FROM WHERE I UNLOADED ) AN EAR FULL OF FOUL LANGUAGE & GRIEF ONCE "THEY" INFORMED ME THAT MY NEW DROP OFF POINT WAS 25 MILES AWAY (CLEAR ACROSS TOWN) ... SO YOUR , SO CALLED, DESIRED RESERVATION PICK UP & DROP OFF PONTS ARE USELESS. DARN GLAD I DIDNT HAVE A FLIGHT TO CATCH...IF I WOULD HAVE HAD TO GET INTO A REAL HURRY TO CATCH MY FLIGHT AND ON THE WAY,GOD FORBID, TBONED A CHURCH BUS FULL OF GIRLSCOUTS ON THE WAY TO THE AIRPORT .... U-HAUL WOULD HAVE TO FILE FOR BANK RUPTCY AS A RESULT OF A MASSIVE LAWSUIT. IT'S NOT " IF " THIS SCENARIO MIGHT HAPPEN ... BUT JUST A MATTER OF WHEN ... SO U-HAUL, STOP USING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO JOCKY YOUR TRUCKS AROUND.

Kathy P.My reservation was initially for a location in another part of town. Close to where I would be using the truck.. My reservation was moved to this location. I noticed this when they called the day before to confirm. This caused me to drive 15 miles extra. There was no offer to help with this extra expense. I had to ask for something to be done to compensate for the additional cost the mileage would ad. They did adjust the mileage rate to help my cost somewhat. I should not have had to ask for this to be done. If you cannot meet the details of the reservation, you as the company, should offer to make the deal acceptable to the renter on your own. Other than that, everything else was handled properly
John E.The only real issue I had was with the inspection I wanted to take multipule picture's of prior damages so as to cover my bases. But great customer service all in all and they were understanding when I needed to extend the contract
Michael H.I booked my 15ft truck more than three months in advance for a one way rental. Less than 24 hours before pickup, I was notified that I wouldn't be able to pick up my truck until an hour later because the rental before mine. I had movers coming and could not take a later pickup. Two hours later, a truck magically came available. I was told by three people dispatchers and the general manager a truck would be available for me at my original reservation time. When I showed up to pick up the truck, the keys weren't there. The manager had to be called and I was able to get the truck. I can only guess they let me have an in town truck for my one way rental. Also, I rented a 15ft truck, but was given a 20ft truck. I didn't have that much stuff. While it worked out in the end, the stress it caused was not worth ever renting from UHaul, let alone this location ever again.

Erica E. | Overall ExperienceThis was a horrible experience and I swear I'll never use Uhaul again!! I asked for a manager to call me back about my rental and never got a call back. I was put in the wrong truck and was inconvenienced by having to return and get a 2nd truck to correct you all mistakes and making me over an hour late!! I was never given my military discount that I was promised!! I was never offered any discounts for the inconvenience your company put me through!! I was charged in the end $112 dollars for a $19.99 dollar truck!! I'm still extermly upset over all this and will from now on go through a different company and I ensure you all I will inform all my service member friends and all my Medic friends I work with that uhaul had zero respect for the military and Zero respect for those who work as paramedics!! I have gone as far as writting a local news company bout how horrible this experience was and how you managers have yet to contact me. This is just WRONG how you treat your customers!!!!

Dylan E.The van I rented was rather dirty on the exterior, and looked as though it was never washed for the 5700mi of it's life. The interior was nice and clean(which matters far more), though.
Kyle C.I rented a trailer for a few hours on July 5th and returned it to the same location July the 5th. On July 6th I was charged for an additional day. I called the location and was told the charge would be taken off my card, but 5 days later it's still showing!
DON B.The staff was helpful and explained everything I needed to know. Staff was courteous even with a line of people forming. It was early morning, approximately 7:30am .The team seems understaffed. Not complaining bc places are short staffed everywhere; just an observation. Take good care of your employees! They work hard!!

Marty E.The overall was good. the one clerk never smiled though, and kept trying to sell product. charged me for something and then said she 'didn't know how to give the credit' so i had her get someone who did. this clerk said she had been working there for a long time, so i figure she knew 'exactly' what she was doing. everyone else was nice. she never ever smiled, said thank you or anything polite. the storage unit although said climate control was at least 80 degrees, way too warm for things that need climate control. i must add that i appreciated the Uhaul location and availability for an urgent need.

Dennis R.Was asked when I would be moving in, I stated I would be that night I booked the storage unit, and I was assured they would make sure No trucks would be blocking my unit, I go pack up a 26' Uhaul and drive it all the way to Tulsa to unload it and there is a truck blocking my whole unit about 6 inches from the door so there was absolutely no way to get into it, having to drive all the way back up there now just to unload my truck finally. Way to many trucks and not enough room for them to park them so they are blocking tons of units, not only mine was blocked

Jake W. | First ImpressionsU-Hauls late fee schedule violates the norms of decency. In my case I was out of town on a business trip. You charged me $30 late fee on a $129 invoice that was 20 days late. This figures out to about 445 per cent per annum. Usery rates by any definition. I called the manager to discuss this but he did not return my call. With our two companies in Arizona and California we have done tens of thousands of dollars per year with U-Haul. I have instructed our managers not to business with U-Haul at any of our locations in the future. J. Logan

We were told when we set up storage by the older lady that works there that there is NO insurance on storage units and we were not able to put insurance on our unit. All my pictures of my kids were ruined and U-Haul told us if we had insurance that they would have covered our damages. That lady is sooo rude Everytime I come in and lied to me and my family. I refuse to come into the store anymore. You can't get pictures back, thanks. Also the lady said we had 24/7 storage access, so we had a fully loaded uhaul truck to load into the storage we rented and got there and it said storage hours on Sunday close early, so we couldnt even access our storage to unload, had to have the truck an extra day, had to sleep inside truck so none would steal it or our belongings because of your worker LIEING! I almost lost my job. You all should be ASHAMED of yourselves and your POOR customer service. Try treating customers like you would want someone treating your own family!

MARVA W. | First ImpressionsAs far as the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Other than that, I was highly disappointed with the facility. First, I had the climate controlled units (a total of 5). I've been in a few times and noticed the temperature in there to be very hot for being climate controlled. My dad and I started to move my stuff out on Friday, June 18, and it was around 90 in the area where my units were located. It was nicer to work outside with the breeze than work inside. I've had UHaul storage places in Texas that the climate controlled units were kept around 75-78, so it was nice to move in and out. So the biggest complaint is the climate controlled units are not worth the money here. If I need more, I'll go elsewhere. Secondly, at one point, the automatic opening doors stopped working at one point, so myself, my dad, and 2 ladies got locked in. I tried calling the office, but got voicemail. We almost went out the fire exit because we were all getting really hot and couldn't get in touch with anyone to let us out. Eventually my dad was able to get it opened. If I was looking for an outdoor unit, I might come back here, but I won't ever be back for climate controlled. It was a waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend using this location. I would rather have my storage experience be more about what I pay for (my storage units) than friendly staff.

But if my unit had been located inside rather than outside, it would have been extremely inconvenient to not be able to get into my unit after 10pm. Also didn't appreciate trucks being parked in front of my unit when I needed access after 7pm.

I realize U-Haul did not deliberately cause the problem but trashing my goods with no consideration for the loss was not good. At least I was given a replacement lock for the one cut off when I couldn't make a 700 mile trip in the time allocated to clean/empty my bin. Up until this loss the rating would have been 4 or 5.stars.

We were not sure if our belongings had been stolen or what was going on. It took three phone calls before they could even find our name in the system. Then one guy called us back and said it was a mistake and our stuff was still there. Of course we drove in from out of town ourselves to verify - thankfully the locks were in place and everything still there. I realize mistakes happen but these types cause a lot of stress. I'm glad it was fixed but hope it never happens again.
