I went in expecting to have a somewhat negative experience based on his reviews to begin with, and right from the jump I was met with a negative â€œwhat do you wantâ€ tone. Barked at me asking if i had a reservation, tried to shove the insurance down my throat as if he couldn't continue with out it, said uhaul implemented some new policy. I asked him if i could see the screen, because he said the next button wouldn't light up with out it, sure enough it was green. I looked at him and said Just hit the button. The rest of the time consisted of silence and signatures.brandin H.

They don't carry any type of dolly to help with moving so you are forced to go to a different location to obtain it. The customer service was VERY poor. Nothing was explained to me - how much per km I would be charged or how much gas I would be charged if I don't fill it up. Just overall a bad experience and will tell all my friends and family about it. â€¦the guy could not even muster up a smirk or a half smile or anything. It appeared we were invading his space and he has better things to do anyway.Samantha H.

- The truck had hard time starting and needed maintenance. - I got charged extra for gas, while I have a picture + recepts to prove I filled the tank right. They never responded to my emails. Customer service at this location was very bad, person at this location kept telling me my credit cards were not working but in fact the problem was with there machine and I wasted almost 45 minutes sorting this out and the guy didn't even apologies for wasting so much time. Also wen booking online I declined insurance but this guy charged me for it and when I asked if he could remove it from my contract before I made my payment he declined and was very rude about it.AmanPal B.

I had reserved a truck that was a 1 minute walk away from my house. The day before I was supposed to pick it up I was told it wasn't available and would have to drive 60km to pick up an alternative. The rates for the rental was outrageous. I drove from Vancouver Island to Calgary and it cost me $500 less than it did for this trip which was half the distance. I will try to avoid uhaul in the future.Ryan O.

Maybe the location could have a person open earlier, like 7AM. When moving a household we need all the time of daylight. Could provide a pin for closing the back door latch securely while on the road.Reid G.
The man that was working at the Computer Clinic @ 1pm was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER experienced. He was aggressive, combative and extremely rude, cutting me off when I would try to speak and trying to boss me around ever chance he got. He YELLED at me to turn on the u-haul and wouldn't give me a tour for damage - I had to do it on my own. He was so rude I will never go back and still am shocked at his lack of skill. He got very set off when I declined the additional insurance cover and kept repeating rudely (6x+) that my credit card was gonna get charged the full amount of damage.Stephenie D.
Two things, we were charged more mileage than what we travelled. I have google maps and know the exact mileage. I believe the odometer is set to slightly more than it is supposed to be. Also , I purchased gas as required only to be charged an additional amount that was not warranted. It is not digital, and is highly subjective. I think this dealer is cheating customers on mileage and on gas. I would never use this location again.Brenda H.
When we picked the vehicle the gentleman was very pleasant. The inside needed to be swepted. We returned the vehicle the nxt day and put the key in one of the boxes My husband got a call on monday morninh from another gentleman and was told there was a problem. When asked what the issue was he said we left a cup in the truck and asked to come and get it out. We had moved on the other side of town. So he went and removed it. When arriving at the store the gentleman called him a slob and being stupid for putting the key in the wrong drop box. My husband apolized for putting it in the wrong box as he did not know. The gentleman told him that he was not a cleaner and that they did not need our business.Jackie M.

The owner was really rude, unkind, and unhelpful. He even did not greet me and he did not explain where the parking spot when I return. The most weird thing is that he charged fuel fee, $20 more, to me although I refilled the gas more than the first. He did not want to check with me but he pushed me to go home and leave the key. I noticed that he did same things to other people when I read the google review. I had one more reservation there but I surely cancelled it. He is such a swindler.Yongrae N.

A known issue with the passenger side wiper blade was not divulged to me before I left the location. During a snowstorm a couple hours later the wiper blade self destructed when the wiper speed was increased. I was unable to see out that side for the rest of the rental. I immediately called the pickup location to let them know the wiper had broken and that was when I was told that the damages wiper was known about before I left and I was not told about it. After dropping off the vehicle at its designated location I received my invoice online and noticed a $50 fuel charge. The invoice stated that we had returned the vehicle with a 1/4 of a tank less of gas than we had actually returned it. We were extremely unhappy with the extra charges and have yet to hear back from anyone from Uhaul regarding the discrepancy. A photo was taken upon dropping the vehicle off to ensure the mileage and fuel levels were adequate on the invoice. So I am unsure of how the gas level had changed from time we dropped it off despite the mileage when we dropped it off stating 84538 and the invoice stating 84539 MI.Brandon R.

The truck is as parked about 500 meters away from the shop and parked along the road. I had to walk there after registering myself to get the truck. When i wanted to return the truck, there was no available parking and had to wait 1 hour for another car to leave. The truck itself had weird vibration when it would hit 90km/h. It did not feel safe. The uhaul representative unfamiliar with the client user interface on phone to book truck. The equipment l booked use I.e. trolly was not available. Washer fluid was empty. Alot more convenient it the gas tank was full instead of guessing how much fuel has to be replaced.Todd M.
Not sure where the $89. rate came from as I did an online reservation for $19.95 rate per day. I'll never use u-haul again the service has gone down as I used it to move from one province to another and was quite happy but never again as the reservation was totally incorrect when I did it.Neil C.

You shouldn't list packing blankets on your website for this location. Upon arrival, we were told this location doesn't have blankets available. We had fine furniture to pack, and had to make due with boxes cut open and wedged around our furniture. Next time we will pick up our truck at the main depot.Theresa R.
We ordered a dolly, appliance cart AND furniture pads. All three items weren't there when we went to pick up the uhaul. We were refunded our money for these items, but it made moving day a lot more difficult and inconvenient! I was happy with the vehicle and it was appropriate for what I needed it for. The guys who greeted me must have been sergeants in some sort of army. I felt that I was doing them a favour and thought that I may have been not welcome. I know that there are people who have no problems with this. I don't like it. The truck was unsafe, door didn't close properly and wouldn't start without wiggling the ignition and key. Pretty rough condition but the gentleman in charge is a very nasty man. Even businesses in the area were familiar with how grumpy he was. Not a good representative at all.Barry C.

Vehicle was dirt when I picked it up, I left the rental in better shape than I started out for my 2 Hour Rental. All I put in the vehicle was a piece of Aluminum and then brought the vehicle back. The Owner still charged me $25.00 for Cleaning. I dropped the Key in the box, next time I will take images of everything and make sure they see the before and after. I may or may not rent there again. When I asked him about he just said there is nothing he can do.Michael G.

This people in this location are very rude and not accomodating. I called them to ask for their location as the GPS location is not accurate. The guy from the phone was rude and screaming. He was unable to clearly relat their location. During the turnover process, they never did a walk through inspection and just handed over the keys and made me sign some waivers and left. Was billed for a dolly that wasn't in the truck. Vehicle cab dirty, wipers and window dirty. Seal and roof leaks badly!! Most of my things got soaked! Even the stuff in the mother's attic as you call it. The box was clean. However the guys at the Location were very friendly and got me on my way. 9/10 for them and -10/10 for the equipment. Mattress bags showed up after the move was over. I booked the truck for 8 am I got it at 930 The truck was half full of fuel. I was given only 12 blankets after ordering 36. In a 26 foot truck I couldn't pay by debit only credit I would rate this as one of the most horrible experiences ever.Dan R.

Both people that I dealt with there were rude,pushy,impolite. Their disposition was almost accusatory and demanding. Terrible tone. When a person asks for my drivers license and then demands to know if the address on my license is correct I take offence that I would offer up my identification with false information. The other person was no better. When instructing me where to park the vehicle he tells me that I can not park across the street in front of some condominiums and that it would be towed at my expense. When I asked him what I should do in the event that there was no room to park where he suggested on a public street he simply shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I did an online reservation and even choose to rent a dolly. Came to the office by Midnapore branch and the guy just asked for my licence and credit card. He even asked me which dolly will I choose to rent. After the paper work is done, He estimated the cost and bill of me $114 for everthing. When they held me the key, the guy did not even let us check the vehicle for cleanliness or any damages before hand just in case and just asked me to sign the blue receipt and just left. I was told where to park the truck when I return it. I went on my way and found out that the dolly that I supposed to rent is not in the truck. I called the office and asked why the dolly is not in the truck. He said that He did not charged me for if and if I want it, I need to drive back to get it. What is the use of asking me which dolly would I like when I was in the office before I got the truck? Why would I need to drive back? To get more charges on my driving mileage? I received an email for my receipt and was supposed to be charged for only $97 for everything. Is there a way that extra charges be reinbursed? One of the worst experienced service ever!Angelito M.
