The vehicle was on E and the customer service representative was rude.

Melissa C.The location Kwik Shop rented me the 15' U-Haul with the gas tank filled to the 3/8 marker. The gas gauge was between the 1/2 tank and 1/4 tank marker. The location did not provide me with a receipt when I picked up the truck and said I would receive an emailed receipt. I never received the emailed receipt. When I returned the truck on 5/14/22 the location charged me the Fuel Surcharge for 3 gallons. I asked why since I returned the truck with the same amount of gas. The location said that when they rented me the truck it was marked at 1/2 a tank of gas. The person at Kwik Shop showed me a printed receipt with the truck marked 1/2 tank. Since I didn't have any proof of the tank being filled to 3/8 I had to pay the extra Fuel Charge. I asked the location to print me a receipt and he refused and said he didn't have access to a printer but somehow he had a print out of my receipt from when I picked up the truck. I never received the receipt from when I picked up the truck but when I returned the truck I received an emailed receipt with the extra Fuel Charge. The air conditioner in the truck did not work and the dashboard was sticky from what appeared to by spilled soda. I will never rent from this location again and will take my business to another truck rental like Penske or Budget.
