The location was closed and locked despite the hours saying they would be open. After checking in online we had to call them and then wait about 8 minutes for someone to show up to give us the key to the truck. The truck was not well cleaned and had a small ant infestation due to food that had been left in the truck.Riley M.
After reservations wasn't met bounced me around to other locations. Truck was crap. Ac didn't work and aligned is needed badly. Didn't have the utility dolly and furniture pads. Very disappointing service and equipment. No one seemed to care.Heath M.
Location was dirty and staff was not helpful. I had reserved a vehicle several weeks in advance, but when I arrived to pick up the vehicle the rental did not match my reservation, and the vehicle was full of cigarette ashes. I made do because I was under a tight schedule, but if I had time I would have canceled my reservation and gone to another location.Peter W.

As soon as I got there and tried to get my truck I was met with a 30 minute sign up form, and I felt as though half of it could have been done beforehand. It was already 7:00 and once I was done it was 7:30 and my storage unit closed at 9:00. I did get my truck, there was no dolly and I was charged for that anyways, which took me another 30 minutes to get from another location because I couldn't move my washer dryer without it. It was very bad weather that night and the dial to change the cold and hot air was broke and I was soaked from the rain and freezing from the air conditioner. Overall, wouldn't recommend.Desiree S.

That particular site is unreasonably busy; I think Mr. Maher, leasing agent, is very competent but he is overly taxed and should have a 2nd agent working in the office with him at least 5 days a week. He's had a lot of challenges with certain customers who didn't return the trucks/vans on time and other problems. He needs help. There should be about 3 cargo vans at that site.HUDA H.

I was charged double what I should have been, and the interior of the Truck had clearly not even been given a basic wipe down after the previous rental- very unclean.Mason B.
The rental experience was easy and good but the truck broke down. Engine locked up because there was no oil according to roadside assistance. I was stranded for 5 hours. I called 17 times to please bring me a truck and tow the uhaul. We arrived at my tow drop off location and they were unaware of the the situation. I counted 7 extra employees just wondering around when one of them could have delivered me a truck. After all said and done I was 8 hours into a bad experience. Door has hand writtwn note hours open at 8...i called him....he was at least an hour and a half late affected movers we hired by uhaul. at 70 we were left to finish loading the truck. totally unacceptableMichael H.

Store opened an hour late. The store interior is a mess. With no on in the store I honestly thought I had been scammed out of money. 6 other customers waited for an hour outside for the owner to get there. When I called his number at 8a (when the store was due to open), he said something about being with his kids and running late. A second person called him a half hour later and he was still driving. Three of us had movers scheduled to show up at 9 am. Accidents happen but the owner acted more put out than all of us. It had serious repercussions for the rest of my move that day. Truely a unpleasant experience. Would NOT recommend this location ever. He gave me no receipt or information about my truck. Terrible.Adrienne A.

Maybe try not screwing up their reservation. I called and made my reservation. It was confirmed. I also went the location of the pick up 3 days before to make sure everything was set. They confirmed everything then. Also received a phone call confirming everything. The day of pick up, they didn't see my reservation. I had to drive all the way to the next town, almost 30 min to pick up a truck. Completely inconvenient. Once I arrived at the other location, they tried to tell me they didn't have a truck. Even though I seen it when I pulled in. I'll never rent through U-Haul again. Too much of a hastleAmberlee S.

Overpriced box wouldn't open say they open at ten on weekends but it's actually open earlier than that. Was charged 100 when we had it maybe three hours and not 6. Didn't even have to get gas due to it not even being a long trip it was just one trip.Angela W.

Maintain the vehicles and if there issues, they need to be communicated to the customer. The on-site representative didn't check me out or in. I paid for a 24 hour rental, but was only given a 22 hour rental, so I had to extend my rental for another day (22 hours) according to this location.. I asked the gentleman when I rented it why it was only 22 hours and he just shrugged his shoulders and said to ask U-Haul. However, when I called to extend the rental, the phone representative said that the rentals are always 24 hours, unless that specific truck isn't available, which it obviously was since I was able to extend. The breaks squeak like crazy and jerk when stopping. The truck overheats, which caused me to run the heater to cool the engine, which caused me to use more gas. The A/C doesn't work at all, and it was 95 degrees and sunny. The lock wouldn't move until I sprayed a significant amount of WD-40 in it. Also, the passenger door has obviously had damage done to it, so it is difficult to open, makes a horrible sound when you do open it, and won't open all the way. This is the worst truck I have ever rented. It made an already difficult move absolutely miserable. When I returned the truck and told the gentleman about all of this issues, he shrugged his shoulders and said call U-Haul, maybe they will do something for you. I have been on hold on the phone and on chat for like 20 minutes.Kat M.

Procedures were much looser than I expected particularly in this area. While I say they were loose, I also think that may be the correct approach. A little risky but that may be needed. I am white middle class from another neighborhood but excited to see UHaul reaching out.alfred S.

The Manager there was condescending and did not want to help. I had to call Corporate after he canceled my reservation for being late to pick it up AFTER I called to tell him I would be late. Furthermore, Uhaul wanted to change my drop off location to a place nearly 30 miles from my house.Kevin J.
