I returned my equipment on a Saturday and the facility is not open. I was not made aware of this in advance and I had to figure out how to do the online return process on my own. I didnt feel comfortable that I would follow the process and not be charged anything additional without having someone there to receive the equipment.Jeff T.

I was shifted to this location because the trailer was only available at this location. Upon getting there the vendor had nothing other than the trailer I ordered. Had to run all over town looking for a hitch ball. We already purchased moving blankets thinking UHAUL would drop the ball and sure enough they did. Also, the trailer looked like it went through an off road adventure mud all over the front sides and inside. We had to clean the inside out before using the trailer. I will look to other vendors in the future for moving equipment.William S.

The costs weren't very clear. It would help if I could see how much gas there was in the tank to start, or if the app told me how much gas to fill. I don't remember being asked to verify how much gas was in the tank to start, so I assumed the app knew how much gas was in it. I tried to fill it back to my recollection, but couldn't confirm until I was checking it back into the parking lot. So I had to pay a premium for someone else to get gas when I could've just gotten it while I was at the gas station, if I knew how much to get. The app showed the location of my trailer on the opposite side of the lot, which made it hard to find. Luckily, the lady inside helped me find it.Jordan K.

The services was stellar. I must have missed a step with the reservation and showed up without an actual reservation. They didn't skip a beat and got me all set up! The hydraulic breaks make the hookup and detachment difficult due to the weight of the trailer. They made sure I was perfectly taken care of! I was in and out (even without a reservation) in under 30 min! Great service!ERIN M.

It took us 1-1/2 hours to be able to gain access to the truck we had reserved. I will never again rent from a UHaul location that is not open on the day I need a rental. I assumed from the information that was online and your tutorial video, that it would be a simple process to gain access to the truck. It was unbelievably frustrating, even called the 800 number and was put into a queue for 15 minutes each time. Also preregistered my account to "quickly" check in and out. Even that information was not readily available. Worst customer service experience I have had in a very long time!Patrick D.

The website/app used for returning equipment is super unreliable. I turned in my equipment outside of business hours, which was a mistake, as the site wouldnt let me upload images to confirm the cleanliness of the trailer. I ended up taking fees because I had to get back on the road and didnt have time to hassle with the site, being in the middle of moving. While most of my experience with uhaul was good, this was a major inconvenience and Im not sure that id opt to recommend uhaul to a friend.Victoria P.
I was unable to complete my return via the web browser on my iPhone 13. I had to download the U-Haul app on my phone and create an account in order to check the vehicle back in. Your form to check the vehicle in would not allow me to â€œcontinueâ€œ after uploading pictures of the condition of the vehicle and it caused a significant delay in my return. Your Web developers and software developers need to improve the experience for mobile users who do not have the app or an account with U-Haul. I would rate my experience returning the vehicle as zero stars out of five.Richard B.

2 items. Trailer was not clean at pick up. I swept it out. I picked up for a day rental at 1:45pm and they put on my paperwork to return at 745pm same day. I returned at 10am next day and they wanted to charge for 2 days.Jeff S.

It was an unassisted drop off. And there was a lot of UHaul items on site. It is a very convenient and apparently popular site in our area. I think a few more pieces of wood to put behind the tires and maybe a couple of more tongue jacks would be helpful for unassisted dropoffs.Mark M.

We were charged for gas despite the fact that we returned the gas tank to the level it was when we picked up the vehicle -- 5 additional gallons for a total of $29.32. It was only 3/4 full, which was how it was returned. No, I won't recommend this U-Haul dealer.James H.

The company where I picked us up was great. I was not informed ahead of time that I would need to respond to a text from U-Haul indicating that I needed to let them know when I dropped off the truck or they could confirm it for $20. When people move, we don't necessarily read every text that we get in as it is an extremely busy time. I had no idea that I needed to do that until 2 days after renting it. I returned the truck within five or six hours of picking it up. My mind is blown that I could be charged an extra $20 for returning after hours and not responding to a text when I wasn't informed that this is a Uhaul process.TERESA ANNE A.

Everything went well until my vehicle was on the trailer It looks like the wear and tear over the years have created indents that do not allow the ramps to come out when a vehicle is on the car hauler In this case I had to jack up the rear axle of my vehicle off the trailer to extend the ramps out This is not U-Haul's fault but during the process of jacking my truck off the ramp and letting it down, I injured myself and had to get seven stitches in the palm of my hand. I'M VERY LUCKY TO STILL HAVE MY HAND THERE IS A 2-IN GASH IN MY PALM THAT COMPLETELY CUT IT OPEN TO THE BONE, RESULTING FROM THE RAMPS WOULD NOT COME OUT . I understand that my injury is not U-Haul's fault but IF THE EQUIPMENT WAS FUNCTIONING 100% it would have never happened. (it IS U-Haul's fault I had to do that because the trailer was not fully functional when rented but IT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE DISCOVERED UNTIL IT WAS IN USE) OVERALL THE FOLKS AT THE RENTAL LOCATION WERE GREAT. I used the mobile service to reserve and check in for my Uhaul rental. Everything was fine until I had to get the key. The building was open, but no one came to the front to issue the key. I called, I shouted, I knocked. Finally I had to call the uhaul service line. She had to call the manager who in turn had to call the employee to come to the front and help me. My reservation was for 9am, but I wasn't able to leave until about 9:45am. Losing that hour made me have to change a lot of things in my moving process. Upon returning the vehicle, another front desk employee was there and she was fast and friendly. If not for her, I would have rated this one star. I will not rent again from this location in the future.Jennifer B.

The guy at the counter may have possibly been the rudest person I have ever dealt with his demeanor everything it was an issue answering questions asking questions. I own a Janitorial company and of it were someone representing my company in that manor I would change location acted like it was a hade and that you guys are lucky they have room for your trucks there that there is no ro for boxes what should they do take their stuff off the shelf to make room for your boxes that was his response when I said I wish they had boxes . Awfull customer service if it were me I would find elsewhere to handley account. I picked up my U-Haul and it had just over a half tank of gas in it. I replaced the same amount of gas and got charged. She said when we picked it up it should be between 3/4 and 7/8 and it was not. Second terrible experience with uhaul and we will NOT be using you again.GRANT THOMAS M.
