todd L.The guy behind the counter was friendly enough, but he explained nothing. I did not like the check in process with the web page on my phone. None of the photos worked and I had to ask what to do. I got a text to check the van back in via the web that I did not know about because nothing was explained to me. I didn't even notice the text until after I got home. The tire pressure sensor was on when I picked up the vehicle. Sub par experience.

They gave me a return. I was 3 hours late to return, I got a call from them saying they wanted to call before they reported the truck stolen, that was completely an unnecessary statement to say to a customer, especially someone who answers the phone,
Denise G.The truck was very dirty. The previous renter used the truck to haul items damaged from a flood. The back of the truck was filled with mud. The U-Haul employee just hit it with a broom quickly leaving a nice layer of dry dirt dust all inside the truck for me to move my furniture in. The front of the truck was also muddy with cigarette ashes in the cup holders. An overall unacceptable level of filth.
SAMUEL P.The same day when I pick up the truck I drop off the truck at the location Before I returned the truck I went to the gas station and I fell up the gas the same way they give it to me The next day I receive a statement for $59.40 for gas That location need to be reported that's a fraud They didn't even call me or try to contact me they just bill me with the amount of money Without my authorization I am very upset and mad about that that shouldn't happen like that

MOHAMMED S.I feel conflicted about how to review this experience. There was really nothing wrong with the equipment but I drove a total of 18 miles and got charged an additional $45 on top of the $20 rental fee. $10 in taxes and $36 for mileage. $36!!?!? For 18 miles?!?!!! That's double!!! Double the normal price. Ridiculous!!! It was 100 degrees out the day I rented that vehicle and almost just as hot when I returned it. Way to take advantage of your customers.

Mercedes L.I had an issue with the reservation. I called to change the pickup time to 8:00 am which was before they opened. I had signed up for mobile pick up. They said they changed it but it was not changed. I called when I got there and they were unable to help me. I called U-Haul and they helped. I also had an issue with uploading the necessary pictures to the U-Haul website. I had to try several times. At the end I received a notification that my Information was under review. This took some more time and eventually it went through. In the end I was late to where I had to be as I first got in the truck around 8:45. Not a good experience.

John O.It was obvious that the employees we dealt with, although courteous and attentive, were not in the least familiar with the truck we rented beyond the standard checking for dents and dings, mileage and a full gas tank. I drove the truck approximately 175 miles and was forced to deal with a number of defective items: 1) The truck was not standard with power windows, so it was necessary to crank the window up and down, which alone was not a big deal except that I was forced to constantly roll the window open and closed due to the fact that the driver's side mirror was loose and kept moving so that I could not properly see cars on my left side. Each time I rolled the window up and down to adjust the mirror, I had to hold on to the steering wheel with my right hand while reaching out with my left to make the adjustment and taking my eyes off the road ahead. It was an unsettling drive on busy New Jersey roads. Added to this fiasco was the fact that the knob on the window crank handle kept coming off making it nearly impossible to easily roll the window up and down. I paid nearly $500 to rent this truck and I can assure you that someone with less driving experience could have easily been in an accident.
