The trailer hitch was just laying on the ground on pick up, sitting up on a stump at least would have been better as these trailers are HEAVY to lift. There also was NO safety pin for the tongue of the trailer which the guy said we didn't need but we are used to using for anything we have every towed. Hard to find the business as it was actually in a building which said CAFE with just a sign in the window. Drove by twice before we found it. Otherwise the trailer itself was fine and in good shape.Cost is perfect!Jules D.

Although it took a longer than expected time to check in, because the Rogers Outrange. But the lady who helped us was extremely friendly & helpful. Due to this, we didn't mind the wait!! The truck was clean and loaded with the materials we requested (they didn't have all of the furniture pads we requested in stock, but gave us everything they did have, which worked out for us anyway). Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend the 62 Commerce Park location to friends & family.SIMON T.

The Dunlop location did not have my 15 foot truck. Said was not returned by previous renter. Had to go to south Barrie to pick up a truck at Barrie Rental luckily they had one. The back bay of the truck was covered in dirt and when I pulled out the ramp, it was filled with dirt/soil. Had to sweep out the bay and the ramp before I could move my mattress and things. Had problems with my cellphone uploading my license. Luckily had my work phone and it went through. Same with when I had to return the truck. What do you do for people that don't have cell phones? Customer service was completely unacceptable. Please contact me for the entire story because this box isn't big enough. Coles notes: I booked a trailer online. Got there and the trailer was not there. Employee didn't know where trailer was. Made ME call I Uhaul office and speak with someone else. (Who was also not helpful). Pickup took far longer than it should have. Said I needed a 4ft wide trailer, attendant assigned a 4Ã-7 trailer which was not actually 4Ã-7 it was just above 3 foot wide. Lucky that they had the 4x9 which is actually a 4ft wide trailer. If not for that one I would have been stranded with no equipment. Last but not least it's been several days I'm still waiting to get my deposit back.ABA H.

Experience was kind of meh. They first offered be different equipment than I had booked but did allow me to take what I ordered without issue. Last few places actually came out and hooked up the equipment and had me check lights. This was, it is over there and bring it here once you hook it up so I can make sure it is done right. Onsite, quick smartphone would not work. Not with an iphone nor with an Android. Put us 1 hour behind, had to wait for the employee to show up to get us the vehicle. Very sketchy inside. The man working the desk had no mask, did not greet us when we walked in and said â€œwhat's your nameâ€. He then proceeded to tell me my credit card was declined which is not accurate and made me pay a $200 deposit. When I went back the next day to get my money back he said he was going to etransfer me then proceeded to etransfer me from a personal account of his.. Yolanda and her crew was great. It is the best UHAUL place in town that shows great and convenient services and so kind to customers compared to other shops. Also they have lots of moving supplies and large parking lot so it was easy to park my car and Uhaul trucks. +AAFSHIN R.
Another disappointed venture.. The trailer wasn't on the lot..we double checked the confermation. Twice.. was confirmed, location and time.. however when we got to the location.. no trailer.. nobody let us know .. apparently they forgot..half hour after we arrived we got the note that we should go to Orillia.. unexceptional.. also the staff is not helpful and rude.. differently not caring.. would never recommend your company..KLAUSP S.

We had a very difficult time to use the straps because the whole system needed to be oiled. Two mechanics had to come and help and I had to pay them extra just to tighten the straps as the ratchets were stuck. If the staff were any more laclustre they'd be comatose. Office noted as opening at 6:30 to 10am on Sunday. Noone showed up until 8:40am. No inspection of the trailer I hired, no assistance/guidance with hooking it up. Staff told me he had to come out and take a photo once I'd figured out hitching. Waited another 20 mins after hooked up and had to go back in the office to remind the guy he needed to take a photo. Between picking up and dropping off, the two staff can't have spoken more than 10 words. Awful service, nothing to give me any reason to use this rental location ever again.Ian B.
Make sure the cab of the truck is sealed offfrom the engine bay/transmission. I had scorching hot air blowing on my legs, which burned me. I had to duct tape the trim to stop this. Horrible truckJeremy R.
1. Received call for early pick up after hours via online app, this was good. 2. Arrived at site to pick up after hours but this location would not recognize my GPS location to validate. This was confirmed not to be an issue with my cell phone. Required to two separate caps to UHaul customer service for a total of 1 hr 45 minutes on hold. 3. Key lock box not readily visible at location: black box on black lamp pole; also, lock very difficult to open. 4. Once app processed manually, and key in hand, discovered app recorded truck start mileage was approximately 17,000 miles less than odometer. This caused an excessive over mileage warning on truck return via app at drop-off location. The UHaul app would not allow me to enter the correct odometer reading even with uploaded photo. Again, one hour on hold to speak with customer service. Fortunately I took photos of the odometer readings on check-out and return to substantiate the actual mileage.Peter H.
This was an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I ordered a trailer from 10-10. Somehow my order was changed until 7 am. I was getting calls and voicemails threatening a 500$ fine if not returned immediately. I worked until 3 am the night before, and knew FULL WELL there was absolutely no chance I would be returning it at 7am. We booked our rental from one location, and the night before the move we were informed, with an email that, we had to pickup the vehicle at another location. This was inconvenient and cost us more money because of the km. charges. Upon pickup the blankets and dolly were not ready to go.
