Richard ChabotMy move took longer than expected. I kept extending my time. The original card that I used for the initial payment they never charged again. I gave another card and one payment came out. On Sunday morning , April 17th, I told the staff that I had been up all night working and the truck still needed to be unloaded. I said that if I didn’t return it that night that I would return the following day. We unloaded the following day and went to the gas station to put gas in the truck before we returned it when 5 police cars surrounded us and pointed guns at us . They said the truck had been reported stolen. They had us all lay face down on the dirty ground while they handcuffed us. My son and his friends are traumatized. I am furious and will never rent from Uhaul again. It was criminal what your manager did to me and I am contemplating suing UHaul.

DUWAYNE CHAVEZI gave the keys to the agent and she said she would check in my truck and asked if I needed a receipt. I told her just mail it to me. I ended up with car rentals on my bill I didn’t make. I am beyond disappointed and will never trust this location for my rental needs in the future. I am fighting the transactions through my card company.

Steven GymanI ordered a dolly with my truck reservation, but when I picked up the truck there was no dolly. I was upset because the man working was rude. Also, you should have not taken my order if you didn't have what I needed. I could have gone somewhere else.

LINDA CONTRERASWhile the staff and facilities here are great, I have misgivings about suggesting a rental vehicle from this location. Today, I was rented a truck for a one way 400 mile trip that had a retread tire affixed in a steering position. This tire failed at freeway speed on the 99S fwy halfway into my trip nearly costing me my life. I would have said that I trusted uHaul equipment but that is no longer true. If there is someone on staff that makes decisions like these, please ask them if they would have put their loved one into such a situation. I'm sad because I've always trusted uHaul and furious that I almost lost my life moving someone else's stuff. Waiting on a narrow shoulder for help that came quickly was nerve wracking as there was very little room to stop. I was grateful they came and serviced the damage within 90 minutes. It was hot and I was severely dehydrated. Lastly, uHaul asked me to tow a car tow which we considered but am glad we said no..The day would have been Much worse.

Richard ChabotStaff is unprofessional, staff is unhelpful and everyone acts like they don’t know how to do anything they always need a different staff member or can’t find the radio to call another staff it was just a terrible experience overall and I never received my deposit back I never requested a check to be mailed to me I gave cash and came back to retrieve my cash and was given the run around just to be told someone closed my contract and requested that I be mailed a check which makes no sense and I never requested a check when I paid cash. When you call they don’t even ask you can you hold the just say that please hold and slam the phone back down and leave you waiting on hold for over 10-20 minutes and still to get no results or the answers you need and the staff does not help you find your U-Haul or assist you any type of way once they take your money. The woman is who works the swing/ closing shift is just terribly unprofessional and unsanitary. She curses to herself, says that’s not her job, makes you wait and does not assist you happily she was terrible and the dayshift staff is just ghetto on the phone telling me they didn’t make enough money yet to give me my deposit back just to be told the next day a check request was submitted on my behalf. I will never do business or suggest this location to anyone EVER

Michael RussI have rented from u-haul for over 20 years and have never had any issues. Even with recent technology advances, the rental process was always smooth and easy. However, recently now u-haul requires one to snap a photo of yourself for their “facial recognition technology”. What? The clerks stated it was company policy and had to be done to rent the truck. I was renting the truck last minute and had I not needed it, I would have canceled my reservation. I am not in favor of any “facial recognition” anything and do not understand why if I’m at the counter in person renting the truck, I need to validate my drivers license with taking a photo of myself. I will not be a returning customer.

Long story short my car was parked at where I picked up the truck, I had t pay Lyft to drive me to my car. The manager just said call the 1-800 number, because they were going to add additional charges. Uhaul should of at least reimbursed me for my Lyft drive back to my car, I didn’t like how he said u have to call The manager should fix the problem not me

Also most times I went over the last couple years cars were always blocking the gate due to lack of parking. Although I will say the day I emptied my locker out and closed out the facility was the cleanest I have ever seen the grounds.

The only reason why I still use U-hual self storage and truck rentals is because there are no other comparable convenient options that offer the same services. I have had so many problems with the quality off service at multiple locations the absolute worst was from the management at the Mid-city Fresno location and the manager Tish at your Lodi, CA on Cherokee Lane.
