I had reserved a auto trailer at the Mt Meigs Road location. However, when I got there, there was no one there at all to help me. I then had to go to 2 other locations , and found one at the air base boulevard location. I received very good service there. Finally!!

My family and I truly appreciated Dennis and Team for all their work, support, and efforts. They were available and very courteous to receive our 4 rental items from U-haul after a long 5-day road trip from Colorado to Alabama. The Team even waited after hours for us to return our trucks. We had 1-26ft truck with auto transport trailer and 1-20ft truck with auto transport trailer. In addition, their site had an available climate controlled storage unit they met our immediate need. They were a one-stop shop for us relative to rental drop off, vacant climate controlled unit, and most importantly AWESOME, DYNAMIC, & PROFESSIONAL 5-star CUSTOMER SERVICE. We thank you so much!!! The clerk was inexperienced on the first call and regarding the gas level on return. We have been renting a van or truck monthly since May 2020. It is very frustrating to arrive in person to one center where they are friendly and take all of my DL info and upload the picture ID with the credit card. In less than 45 mins we call and arrive at Maxwell Mini Storage and must repeat the same process. How can we cut this repeativeness our of this monthly rental?

I had an excellent experience from January, 2013 to December, 2021. I was living in Las Vegas. However, when you had a change of management, I received notification that my lock was missing but that you had secured my unit. I was told by management that several other units were also missing locks. Nothing appeared to be missing. Thank you.

The main problem I had is that I didn't make my original reservation at this location or at this time 0900. I was planning to pick up from a different location at 0700. This created a issue on my end but I got through it. I don't think this was this locations fault.

Uhaul has me pick up here and they did not have the equipment I requested to rent.
This location was the furthest from the location I requested. I passed many other locations. This was extremely inconvenient.

Extremely cost effective! Definitely recommend, if you need to save a few bucks. Note that it is not a 24-7 facility, and that traditional disc locks do not fit in the latch for some of the units.

The check engine light was on when I signed for the truck. The rental agent tried very hard to get another truck from another local U-Haul store. None where available. The rental agent called U-Haul customer service, but they couldn't solve the problem and suggested we call U-Haul roadside service. U-Haul roadside service said it was probably nothing and to go ahead and drive it! So, I took the truck to a nearby U-Haul store that had a diagnostic tool and found that the error code was for an emissions problem. I made my one way trip without any problems, but I was constantly expecting the check engine light to result in a break down. Other than the rental agent who tried to help me, I don't think U-Haul cared about the problem.

There was no one at the site and the business looked closed, no where to drop off the paperwork and not a good neighborhood. I took pictures to make sure you got your U-Haul back and prove I dropped it off. The address on the paperwork said 315 Air Base Blvd and not 312 Air base Blvd, the business looked closed down.

The amazing part of renting a truck is all the "additional" expense over and beyond the $19.99 price tag you reel people in with. I mistakenly took the insurance only to find out that it would not be refunded back to me after the rental was completed and returned. No the experience was not a good one. I did not feel I was well-served in the rental.
