Melissa DalzielThe van was dirty and needed an oil change so wasn't running well at all. I went to get the key and the code wasn’t working so I went inside to ask and the man working walked out to the key box, jiggled it and somehow it opened. He looked at me and said “can I be chauvinistic?” And I said, “I would prefer you weren’t” and he said, “you just need a man to help you with things like this.” You know, Seems extremely unprofessional and extremely disrespectful and offensive. I won’t be using this location again and am contemplating using U-Haul at all.
Sarah DeanMediocre man called Andrew was inept to provide at least a decent customer experience. Awful overall and office was closed when I came to drop off, not notes left, didn’t pick the phone after calling a dozens time and incredibly rude. So pathetic.

Not only did it take at least 25 minutes to take all the photographs and complete the process (and I’m extremely fast on my phone), the additional equipment I requested wasn’t provided and there was no one available to correct it. I would only choose to rent directly from an in-person rep in the future.

Corey StronginThe cargo van smelled heavily of tobacco smoke. Enforcing a no smoking policy and a penalty for returning the equipment in that condition should be as if someone returned it dirty and full of debris. Also, there was a safety hazard on the ground as one exited the vehicle where the van was parked, ductwork sticking out of the pavement, tripping hazard.

LORI LEVINEThe computer connection to the uhaul system was down when I came in. This meant that I had to do everything on my phone, which was frustrating. The clerk was trying hard to resolve the issue and was polite and professional.

sharon fergusonI was charged+ $11 for gas after driving less than 10 miles. How does this even compute? Also I was not able to complete the vehicle pickup process until my location showed as “ at the location “ and was then asked for my lease document or my passport! Who travels with either and why would a homeowner have a lease document? My other two options were a call to my employer or someone who knows me. No employers or friends could or would possibly respond to an unknown call for verification immediately while I was parked in the street outside a uhaul location. I had to drive back home for my passport, (tried photographing it at home to no avail as I was “not at the location”). then drive back to the uhaul location to photograph my passport which was then left in my parked car for the duration of the rental! Ridiculousness on a scale unheard of! Needless to say I am a customer lost - good luck!

SHAYLA COOKThere was no one there to give me the keys when I was scheduled to pick up the Van. I waited for more than an hour. The only reason someone showed up was because my wife thought to call the security company for that location and then they notified the management that then dispatched some one to the location. They were very apologetic and helped me and said there would be a discount on the bill. There was NO DISCOUNT. I had contractors waiting for me that had to hold their work because i was an hour and a half late. I've been very busy with a lot of other things that I'd rather not talk about and finally had the time to respond. NOT HAPPY! Not Happy at all. All I got was billed for time that I wasted waiting. NOT HAPPY!

SERHII SEMENOVAttendant was kind of nice. Truck was clearly not cleaned nor sanitized thoroughly and properly, when I asked the attendant about it, he just said “we spray them” (whatever that means). I was very uncomfortable operating the unit as it was clear that the cleaning process and sanitizing of the truck was poor and way below average, that’s just not acceptable during these difficult Covid times.

Virginia CalvertIf it wasn't for the office staff, I would have been FURIOUS. Your online check in process is beyond terrible. It took multiple tries and at least a half hour of me getting angrier and angrier that it wasn't working. I'm not sure why I had to type in my DL number AGAIN when I had already entered it during reservations. I had to take my face picture multiple times, each time wasn't good enough for your online agents. The only way to communicate was via email. I don't have push notifications set up, so I would have been standing there looking like an idiot. FIX YOUR PROCESS.

Vanessa Chandlertruck was not clean especially the bed. caused my items to be dirty. truck ran rough (acceleration). even though, it only had <1500 miles on it. felt like transmission wasn't operating smoothly.
Ronaold OstroffDo not lie to them. Do not promise a discount that you cannot supply. Do not condescend. When you make a mistake apologize to the customer and demonstrate transparency and an effort to correct the issue. Follow through. Communicate accurately. Act like you care and appreciate your customer’s business. Make sure the mileage and gas depicted on the contract is correct. Engender trust!
