Uhaul has always been my preferred company for my moves, but the Conoco location at 803 W Grand Ave, Rainbow City AL 35906 is by far the best location I’ve used. Highly recommend this uhaul service location.

tom wMade reservations for 20' truck - get there - there's NO 20' - proprietor comments he can call around to see IF he can find one (I do NOT have TIME to WASTE to drive SOMEWHERE ELSE to pick up the correct truck that I had ALREADY RESERVED! Was at this pickup location for over an hour! Finally have to settle for SMALLER truck - get charged MORE for rental - MORE for INSURANCE!!!! WHY????? Get in truck, gas level is supposed to 7/8 - it's not closer to 3/4 - WHY does Uhaul not fill up tank like always has been done - because they GAIN more fuel this way (some of us aren't as STUPID as your company thinks we are). There was molded chicken bones in a deli bag between seats, empty Sprite bottle under seat. I have photos for trash, fuel and mileage, etc. (Facebook posts will be posted unless someone contacts me with explanations and the SMALL credit I am owed. Otherwise your reservations and price lists posted online are nothing but lies. This will be last time I rent Uhaul - WILL find another company that actually want my business. What say you UHAUL?

Gary HRetailer at the store is always pleasant to speak with. He is knowledgeable of the process and works quickly to get you on your way. He explains in detail about the process to follow concerning the rental. I have visited this store on several occasions and will continue to rent there. Also, I will inform others about it too.
REGINA WThe truck was very VERY old. The cab area ceiling was torn and tattered and had parts of the cloth hanging down. It was dirty. When I got shortly down the road, I noticed that a oil change light was on. The owner had pulled the truck out for me because of where he had it pulled and stored so I figured he was aware and it was fine. I drove the 65 miles to my destination to pick up my load of supplies. When I got back in the truck, now there was an additional oil light of some sort on. I proceeded to check online and found it to be an emergent light that required immediate attention. I reached out to the person I rented it from and did not get an answer. I called the Uhaul 1800 # and was told yes, in fact it was urgent and needed the oil to be assessed and changed immediately to keep from ruining the truck. The person on the phone was helpful and found me a Uhaul service center that I could go to. It was 15 minutes out of my way each way and took about 30 minutes at the site. The Centerpoint Uhaul general manager was amazing and immediately came to my aid. He put in SEVEN or EIGHT quarts of oil because there was basically no oil on the stick. ....meaning...the owner of the truck should have had this handled and changed WAY before I drove the truck. Finally, the owner texted me back and said...oh it probably means the oil needs changed but it is not a big deal and you will be fine until you get back. (That would have been an additional 110 miles back). Needless to say---- I was extremely frustrated! It added over an hour to my day and made it where people who were supposed to help unload could no longer help thus putting extra strain on ME. It also added about 30 extra miles which meant MORE gas and MORE mileage to have to pay for. OH, and the location didn't have enough parking area, so I had to "jump the curb" with my own small bed truck and park in a grassy/muddy area to not be in his way. No---I would never rent from him again.

Thomas SI would never ever again rent from this location. This trailer leaked and it rained almost the entire time we had the rental which was two weeks. We pulled out of the location with a flat tire and the store owner did not care. We spent a total of $31 to put air in the tire 14 days straight at gas stations just for the rental to be operable. This store literally had som much stuff in the little parking lot that it was almost impossible to even hook up and the store owner was rude and smelled horrific. I was charged a cleaning fee but he was too busy at drop off to come inspect the clean trailer that leaked and had a flat tire!! I highly don’t recommend!
