Everything was great. Just needed to get better information on where to drop off the key when no one is around. I had to wait for an hour only to find out I could’ve dropped it off in the mail box.

KEVIN HILSEYStaff is friendly and efficient. Vehicle was in excellent condition save for low tire pressure (not dangerously low, just enough to trigger the onboard alert.) My only qualm relates to the passenger vehicle that was parked canted over two of the four parking spaces. One of the other spaces was already occupied by a U-Haul truck making the right turn into the one remaining space far more challenging than it needed to be. Whether the vehicle belonged to a staff member or a client, its placement was troublesome and should’ve been addressed. Regardless, I’d rent a vehicle from this facility again without hesitation.
William PittsThe location is perfectly fine. Easy in and easy out. The only note about the location is the instructions for returning state to put the key in a drop box, but there was no drop box. I just put it back in the slot I obtained it from. The major problem was with the U-Haul App. It took forever for the app to recognize my location, on multiple phones. All other apps knew where I was, but not the app. And all the steps in the video demos were not there in the app. I was concerned I missed something, but everything ended up working out.
James FriedlThe lady I was working with was really great. I had to extend the use of the truck several times because of the weather conditions and delays in my work. She took care of things super fast and seamlessly which enabled me to continuously use the us seem truck. Excellent customer service. Will use the same location again when I need the use of a u haul. Dona ronaldToo many hoops, and things that you need to do to check out the truck and return the truck. They parked it next to a wall inside a storage unit so I had to maneuver driving it out of there. They had a steering wheel lock that they said you had to do they said you had to check it in online otherwise they would charge you $20 when checking it out I swear it was like three things I had to click on links for just to go through the process. The woman wasn’t very friendly at all. The location on the other side of Alameda is a lot more user-friendly and easy and way more seamless to check out and return.

Gina AdamsonU-Haul was very affordable last time I used them. I had to call in to not be charged for an extra day because I brought back the truck on a day the place was closed. The website showed a ramp on the 10’ truck and there was not one. You tried to charge me extra for gas by claiming the tank was more full than it was. If I hadn’t taken a picture you’d have gotten away with it. And why are you charging me per mile if I’m filling up the tank?! The woman was rude and seemed annoyed she had to simply do her job. I wouldn’t have gone in the office if the app was worth a darn! The key return box was behind a screen door and hard to find and support through the app was a joke; just left me on read forever! I will not be using U-Haul again if I can help it

I don’t know maybe because I’m African American is the reason I wasn’t treated with the same courteousness and kindness?
Sharon SmithYour staff went above and beyond expectations. They waited past regular hours for us to return the truck and helped me with the return process. My only request is that I receive a receipt for the final bill. It went through on their computer but not on mine.

Julie JanesI had to go back to the gas station twice to pay for gas that I did not use due to the mistake of the U-haul workers marking the gas as more than what there was when I picked up the U-haul. Not a pleasant experience with U-haul.
James ChambersMy original reservation was for a 15' truck pick up at this location at 5pm. When I checked in day of from my phone, I clicked through all the prompts and the location was still listed as this location. When i went there they told me the reservation had been moved to another location, which closed at 4:30pm. When i checked the text, only in the text was the reservation listed for 5pm at said new location that closes at 4:30pm. The woman working here was very helpful and was able to get me a 10' truck that was available. Once I got the truck to my warehouse and opened the back, I realized that there was hay and manure stuck all over the sides of the truck and it smelled like a barnyard animal had been in there. I did my best to brush off all the manure from the walls and sweep it out, but the smell was still there.

Chan Seng LathungFirst, my rental was delayed, then I was given a truck with windshield wipers that wouldn't turn on. Right after loading the truck and I began to drive, it started to rain heavily, so I stopped and bought $38.00 worth of chamois towel, micro- fiber towels and water repellent for the windshield, so I could treat the windshield and make it possible to drive. As I was on a tight schedule - paying three guys by the hour to help me, waiting for a mechanic at the point of origen was going to cost me too much! So I drove to destination totally stressed out. Why would U-Haul reprentatives not check basic essential systems before giving a vehicle to a customer. U-Haul should refund the cost of this rental.
