DAVID SNANCY YOUNG WAS VERY CARING PROFESSIONAL AND ATTENTIVE OVER THE PHONE. WE HAD A RESERVATION AT 25 JEFFERSON STREET WHICH WAS MADE SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE YET THEY DID NOT HAVE A WORKING 20 FOOT TRUCK FOR US. THEY KNEW IT DID NOT WORK ONE OF THE MEN SAID THAT IT WAS NOT WORKING FOR DAYS BUT THE OTHER ONE MADE OUT IT JUST HAPPENED. THE TRUCK DID NOT TURN OVER AT ALL THE HONEST MAN SAID IT WAS THE STARTER THAT IT HAS BEEN BROKEN. WE WERE UPSET BUT THE MAN AT 12 LARGO TOOK CARE OF US HE WAS VERY NICE AND NANCY YOUNG WAS THE BEST SHE MADE US FEEL LIKE VALUED CUSTOMERS AND LISTENED TO OUR COMPLAINTS SHE IS THE BEST.

KEVIN PStaff were very professional and friendly. They were super helpful when I encountered problems with setting up the trailer. They helped me secure a box truck instead which turned out to work better! The office was a bit cluttered, and loved the fat cat! Thanks for your help!

janet sHard to find, no visible signs for entrance. It smells like grandpas basement inside, no one to greet you. Standing in a clutter hall way w/ random couches /furniture & a very messy desk. Random man with saggy red tshirt appears, grabs my keys & tells me to look out for my receipt via email. Very short & not informative.

david cI have rented from U-Haul multiple times. This was both unsatisfactory as well as a horrible experience. First off, I don't think U-Haul a company would be satisfied with the level of FITH that U-Haul in Stamford was operating in. To name a few things there was bugs everywhere in the business, it looked like a hoarders home, I got double charged for a mattress protector, and they were incompetent it. The second place in Newark I would hardly classify as a business at all. I would consider investigating your franchises more closely because this was operated out of someone’s apartment shared with 5 other people. There was no signage, there was nobody there to greet us or help us. The owners roommates had to help us. It was incredibly sketchy other business owners in the area also helped us. I called the person there was no answer or return call. There was no key rerun just an unsecured mailbox. Street parking only that’s not equipped for 10”+ trucks to be parked. HORRIBLE experience. I was there for over an hour trying to return the truck. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
