I took a picture of a small chip in the windshield when I noticed it a couple hours after I pick up the truck. The windshield was filthy and had what looked like oil from someone’s arm or maybe a small dog because I did see animal hair in the cab. When I returned the truck the guy said that wasn’t there. He said the truck was dropped off the night before and the pictures from the previous renters didn’t show the small crack. The windshield was so dirty and the crack was so small it could easily be over looked. Felt they should have cleaned the truck before rental and documented after they cleaned it. I did put the reservation in more than enough time to have had it cleaned. Clerk didn’t really seem to care to work today.
John ThomasThis location worked. However this was my second attempt for renting an 8 foot truck. The first attempt was horrible!! I tried to rent from main street in Mesa with the large storage facility. The did not provide me with a truck. I was never contacted. If you are discontinuing the truck please don't waste my time and tell me a truck is available when it was not. Very disappointed with U haul!! Very poor customer service!

Arndt RoehligTrying to do the pickup with the mobile app SUCKS! Too many glitches, complete waste of time. Had to go inside and have an associate help me. Luckily it was during regular business hours. Truck was not checked out before I rented it. A hand truck was still in the back from the previous customer. Overall the experience was problem free. Gotta work out that mobile app thing though!

Ian JohnstonI have rented other nice or at the least acceptable transport trailers from UHaul in the past, but this particular vehicle transport trailer should have been retired years ago. It looks beat to hell and showing rust. Date codes show it from the 90's . It towed ok and did the job, but looked like it was ready to fall apart and was sagging and bowed like it was tired or had been overloaded. Please retire this poor old trailer. It deserves it, and so do your customers and your reputation. Thank You.

Danny went out of his way and found something that we had left in the back of the trailer ....something that was small and insignificant, but had great importance to us... it was something of nostalgic value. He found it and saved it for us, and we appreciate it so much... he made our day God bless you guys, we will come back to you every single time we need a trailer!

Until this gets repaired you should quit offering (little alone requiring the use of) the app at all. I rated the location well because they were very helpful but other than that my U-Haul experience was horrible.

Mary HaddoxThe actual equipment and process was fine, but I was overcharged and contacted them THREE times with ZERO response. I was charged for my estimated mileage at booking (50 miles) PLUS the actual mileage (46 miles) and took photos of the odometer. The beginning mileage was rolled back on their records and was incorrect. Despite me having proof, my request for this to be reviewed went completely ignored. I will not rent there again.

I am, however, disappointed because I was able to make a 7:30am pick up time on the app. The office didn't open until 8am so once I called customer service. They had to cancel my reservation then I had to make another one once the office opened. I was told I would receive a $50 credit for the mishap. I believe I'm supposed to call, but I'm really not sure. It was very confusing. Please help!!

kevin kellyStart by washing the truck. It was filthy. There was a lot of dirt and trash inside the truck cab. The windows were covered with mud. I had to wash off the mirrors and windows before I could drive it. The right side stop light and turn signal light on the car trailer did not work. When I picked up the vehicles and also when I returned them, I received no paper work. I was told everything would be sent to me on line. So I had no registration or insurance card when I was out of cell service locations.

harry walesHad to get a second truck, due to original having issues. Don't think they checked the second one's mileage because we were charged for 63 miles when we only did 44.3. Second truck was questionable as well, but at least the job got done. Have another move coming up in a week and a half and I will be looking at other rental companies. This will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth.
